Walgreens - 4 day sale RR not printing

Anyone else had this trouble? -- I assume that it's probably only in my area.... Southwest Louisiana

I went to Walgreens yesterday and tried to buy 3 of the 5 items that are free with the register rewards (in the 4 day sale ad.) I did use one RR and one manufacture coupon. NONE of the RR printed. Of course, I got every excuse under the sun from the manager. So, I simply asked if it would work if I paid with cash, he said "of course." So, to prove him wrong, I did it his way. And what do you know, NO RR printed! So, the RR for the 4 day sales are not printing...but the ones from the weekly sales are working! Anyone experienced this? I dont know how to find out if it's working without buying and returning, over and over.

I bought 5 of the items yesterday and received RR on all. I used mfc on two and also redeemed with prior RRs.

Did your store have the actual ad or the signs up by the products? The ad doesn't come up on wags.com in my zip code and there is no signage in my stores so I've been afraid to try any of it, although other posters said it has worked from them even in stores without it.

I bought most of the items yesterday and the RR printed for me on all of them. I used MFC Q and RR on both transactions.

Yes, there are signs and the 4day ad is at the front of the store. I don't know why my area is having issues... but they had the same problem on Saturday (for the after thanksgiving RR items.) It just aggravates me because I KNOW i should be able to use RR and still get these back (as long as they are not P&G or for the same item) but the managers don't like the idea that I am right and they are wrong.

I was told that 4 day sale was only at certain regions. If RR doesn"t print the manager at my store gave customer cash back.

They started printing in my area, now. Not sure exactly what happened.

I bought the vitamins, and on the side of the price it does have the code (BLBP, or something like that)... but both of them rang up $1.00 each.

Would you believe me if I told you guys that in San Francisco - a major US city, we get the short ad? So... no 4 day sale for me.
BUT then, on Friday, I went to a SF location that I don't always go to & they HAD the 4 day sale going on. They just don't have the flyer, but there's signage around the store for the items. The store is located right next to the San Francisco and Daly City limits and the manager knows that folks go to Daly City for the bigger selection, so he has to match there offers to get the people traffic & increase his sales; otherwise he wouldn't have any sales - it's normally a slow store.
