The deal I have been trying to do is this:
wheat thins or triscuits 9.5-10oz (ritz are included in the sale price but dont work for the diabetes q)
    2/$4 spend $10 get $3 RR nabisco
$1/2 q in the diabetes book
$1/2 manq's (nabisco book or jingle in you pocket book) or $1/1 manq any nabisco over a certain size (insert, sorry not sure which one it was but might be in the data base)
mir $10 when you buy 10 nabisco items (jingle in you pocket book)
the way it breaks down is like this

    $10 5 boxes of crackers
-$2.50 diabetes book q (it takes off .50 per box when scanned for me)
    -$2.00 $1/2 q (twice)
    or -$5 $1/1 q (five times)
$5.50 or $2.50 total oop depending on manq's you use
    then get $3.00 RR

do this two times for a total oop of anywhere between $11.00 and $5.00 depending on manq's used and you end up with $6.00 in RR and get a $10.00 mir for buying 10 items

so depending on manq's used it is a profit of anywhere from $5.00 to $11.00 (minus the stamp and envelop of course)

I hope I didnt confuse you more than helping, I am not the best at explaining things but I do hope this helps. :)

Oh yeah I probably should add (just in case you didn't know)that you would HAVE to do two seperate orders or only one RR will print and you can not roll the first into the second.

how do rainchecks work with the holiday rrs?

if i get 6 in one transaction will they ring like this?
    3.49x6=20.94 towards the 25$--with coupons=0.94/6 (still a decent deal)
this way with no rain checks i KNOW i have 20.94 counted towards the 25$

    or will it be
1.99x6=11.94 towards the 25$----and resulting in 4.03 overage for each coupon=8.06 total overage

if the 2nd is accurate, i would only have 11.94 towards the total yet will have gotten 8.06 in overage

related, stuff i get on overage, how does the 8.06 of overage stuff count towards the 25$

......oh geeze.....i thought i was good at walgreens but this one has me stumped

and i have a few small rrs from last week to use as well

reps to anyone who can answer:)
Every time I've ever had to use a raincheck, the cashier enters the price as a price modify to the original price- so the items will all ring up as $1.999 each. The coupon doesn't matter in this case b/c this particular coupon will beep anyway asking for the price to be entered.

This will make the total toward your $25: $11.94. You will have to purchase other items to cover the overage. The full value of those items will go toward your $25.

    Like this
    Ecotrin 1.99 (price modified/raincheck)
    Ecotrin 1.99 (price modified/raincheck)
    Ecotrin 1.99 (price modified/raincheck)
    Ecotrin 1.99 (price modified/raincheck)
    Ecotrin 1.99 (price modified/raincheck)
    Ecotrin 1.99 (price modified/raincheck)
    Complete lens solution 7.99
    Gilette Fusion razor 8.99
    Total: $28.92

    Use
    $10/3 mq
    $10/3 mq
    $1/1 Complete
    $4/1 Fusion
    Total-$25

    Total oop: $3.92
    ~earn $8rr (complete), $4rr (fusion)
    Brandy

attention Portland OR wags couponers - just went to the wags in Oregon City and the cashier said to me, "you've probably noticed this walgreens is very coupon friendly." She said their store manager trains cashiers to make sure customers are getting all the coupon deals coming to them! nice!

I went there to do clippyclippy's Olay scenario, but there was only one Olay quench body lotion left, so I substituted the Renu -- still a MM, and no filler required:

1 - Olay Body Wash (any kind, but not trial size) $5.29
    1 - Olay Quench Body Lotion $9.99
    1 - Renu 2-pack $9.99
    subtotal - $25.27
    - $9.99 Olay MQ buy wash, get lotion free
    oop - $15.28
    - $10 RR (Renu)
    - $5 RR (5/25)
    - $9.99 MIR Olay Quench body lotion
    = $9.71 MM !

I think I am getting the hang of this! :-)
