Default Walgreens Rolling Transactions - what can you do?

There are some things that I would like from Wags Black Friday ad, including the Snuggies on sale only on Thanksgiving. I worked out a theoretical plan to get everything for very little OOP after RR - but it requires me to do 7 transactions, rolling the RR from one to the next.

I'm pretty new to Wags, and have never tried to do more than 1 transaction. Is it totally YMMV as to whether they will let me? When you guys say that you "do the deals", does that usually include a few transactions in one visit?

I have a set of Wags within 15 minutes, so I could possibly visit 3 stores. I can bring my boyfriend for at least 1 visit (no way he's going to go to 3 Wags, though!) Are the cashiers likely to be upset if I buy something and then pass the RR right to him?

Just trying to plan... would be so much better if I could just get it all done in one visit at one place. But, I am guessing that's pretty much out of the question?

I've never had problems doing more than one transaction, ever.
I usually try to stick to 3 transactions per visit but have done more occasionally.

as long as you have everything mapped out and know what you are buying each time and which RR to use, it shouldnt cause too much trouble. Try to check out at the beauty counter (if nobody is there ask if the beauty assistant is around) and I would recommend letting other customers who come behind you "cut " in line between your transactions - should keep things nice and pleasant :) If you have 7 transactions what I would do is go in and get the first 3 transactions worth and check out, then ask if it would be ok to go out and come back in for more stuff. then do your other 4. or, bring your BF along and you do 4 transactions and he could do the other 3(or vice versa) to me 3 or 4 transactions is not excessive at all.

i always ask if they can separate an order into two...and always let the person in line behind me go before i do another order

also, i do the "oh i got a register reward" and then ask if i can use it now...ill then go out to my car, put my items i bought in, and then come back in

it also helps if you go at a non-busy time...i go to my 24 hour stores at 6am..get the 3rd shift ladies who like it when people talk to them as they are bored and tired...for some reason my dayshift ladies arent always that nice

beauty counter people are usually great...they get credit when you buy beauty products from them so try and take those purchases to them . they normally do not mind ringing up other things too

I usually do one transaction, take it out to the car, then come back in to do the next. That's partly to keep from holding up the line and partly to make sure I don't screw up the different transactions. It also gives you an argument if someone complains that the coupon is for your next visit. If your WAGs is reasonably coupon friendly you shouldn't have any problems. Make sure you have everything lined up before you get to the counter, let people with small orders go ahead of you, and you should be OK.

I've done as many as 16 in one visit on Sunday morning.Only have 1 Wags around here and if your not there early on Sunday you out of luck. Home and back in less than an hour. Then go in a couple of days later for any left overs.

Usually when I have a lot of transactions I do two per store. I have about 3 that I go to regularly. I dont think I ever had more than 6 transaactions in a week though....

I would like to know what you have planned though

It depends. Are these Wags normally q-friendly? If you want to do them all in one place, go to the most q-friendly one. Find the BA and check out with her at the BC, it's sooooo much better than checking out up front with multiple transactions. Also, if there is anyone in line behind you or looks like they want to check out, STEP OUT OF LINE between your transactions. You may end up taking quite awhile but those other customers and the Wags staff appreciate it, trust me. It also gives you time to sort of regroup in between transactions. I only have one store and they all know me now so multiple transactions are no issue for me; they know I'm not trying to "pull" anything and that I am always courteous to other customers. If you have some extra qs, it wouldn't hurt to share those with whoever checks you out either!
