Walgreens L'Oreal Bare Naturale FREE! (IVC Expires 11/28/09)

I went to the walgreens by my house, and I found the eyeshadows there, went to use the walgreens coupon from the book, for 3 off, the register beeped. The cashier was like, um you cannot use this coupon, becasue the eyeshadow is 2.59 , and the coupon is for 3.00. I was like well, can't you adjust it down then to the 2.59 off.The guy was like ummm no. Was he right to say this?

maria728 - I think it's a case of ymmv. I haven't had any luck with any clerk / AM adjusting the ivc to 2.79 for me on the e/s at several locs and my usual BA's are really nice too...

My sister sent me that book, but I forgot to look for these today. Looking at the ad for tomorrow, I see L"Oreal cosmetics are bogo50%. I sure hope my store has some when I shop tomorrow

I went to 2 different Wags earlier tonight and got 2 of the clearance $2.59 Loreal Bare Naturale eyeliners and eyeshadows. Turns out they are also ringing up B1GLP ---which means at both of these stores, buy one get the next one 50% off. So the $3 IVC beeped and the SM came and after much delay, we rerang and instead of the IVC automatically going to $2.59, I had to pay $.90 for both---2.59 for first and 1.30 for second - $3 IVC. I was not in the mood to argue as the Nexxus coupon had also beeped so I said thanks and left. My stores will NOT adjust a price of an item even though I have told them that according to what I have read on HCW corporate has emailed people saying that it is allowable for them to adjust the price of the item, not the amount of the coupon. (I mean, come on, who is the ultimate authority on Wags coupon policy/usage ---obviously HCW!!).

Grabbed 2 eyeliners last night... they rang up $2.59 ea and G1GLP.

2 @ $2.59 = $5.18
- 2 IVC Qs rang up as -$5.18
2 $1/1 of any L'Oreal makeup
- $1.30 50% off scond.

$5.18 - $5.18-$2.00-$1.30 = -$3.30 MM!

Went back again today and grabbed 6 more...

Yes, they do say bare naturale. They are difficult to spot, because they look like the shadows. They don't look like any liner I have ever seen before, HTH you. Fat bottles w/ a narrow liner brush dispenser top.

Haven't used them yet... trying to figure out how they work... Guess I COULD open one and find out! (I'm thinking I'll look like Uncle Fester with these)
