Default Walgreens - Another place to donate your meters

I posted a bunch of meters on Freecycle tonight, and one of the people who responded is president of a firefighter's association. He says they keep meters in their first aid kits. So, if you're looking for places to donate these, check with your local fire station!

That's a great idea-- thanks for posting. Last time I had a lot of these meters, I had a horrible time finding a place to donate them. I will check this one out.

Nope, he said they'd take everything I had.

Thank you so much for posting this. I tried calling my local Seniors org. and had no response from them. I took them down to a local firehouse today and they gladly accepted all I had.

Default Another place to donate your meters

Another place to donate your meters-possibly-is your vet, humane society, or no kill shelters. I use my meters for my cat who used to be a diabetic. A lot of people do not want to deal with the hassle of a pet who is a diabetic, or they can't afford the meters & strips, and the pets end up in shelters. My vet does a lot of pro bono work with several local groups, and she does have a need for the meters.

    Just a thought.
