That's what I'd do too (go buy more)! Not to make you feel worse, but I've definitely learned not to throw any receipts out for about 6 months. It's amazing how many rebates you can claim after the fact. For example, I sent in a few months ago for that Real Simple rebate because I'd bought enough Nestle morsels to qualify. I had no idea when I bought them that they qualified for the rebate, but I saw it posted here the next day and I just happened to still have the receipt. $5 in my pocket! Woo hoo!

Back to your regularly scheduled Wags deals...

WAIT - I must have missed that rebate - Is it still doable? Where is it located?

I need to clean out my file cabinet, but I probably have receipts from at least 2005 back there. I think I even still have bank statements going back to 1976. lol I keep everything. And no, you don't want to see my house. lmao

Tax was .18????? What planet do YOU live on??? I figured that here in Florida, the tax on those items would be $1.96. (7%) I guess where you live the tax is calculated after coupons. I wish it were that way here!

On my way out of Walgreens today I was putting my RR's into my coat pocket when SLICE! I got a nasty papercut right by my fingernail-probably from a coupon. =) All I could think was "Too bad I don't have a couple hundred band-aids right about now. OH WAIT! I DO!"

Just so you know, deals on toothpaste roll around pretty frequently, and we can usually get it for free or better. Not to knock your deal, but I didn't want you to stock up with what is actually fairly expensive toothpaste (at least compared to what most people here pay).

Yes Melissa, but it has been a while since there was a free toothpaste deal and for those of us who might like this particular toothpaste it MIGHT be worth buying a tube for 99 cents if we are low in our stock piles. After all this forum is for discussing both sale and free items.

Actually, it hasn't been long at all since toothpaste was free - Aquafresh was FARR during the Black Friday sale, and if you do CVS too, Colgate was $.13 after coupon and ECB, better if you used a $/$$ on your order.

If you really like this tp, then by all means, get it. But there are a lot of new q shoppers on here, who are still figuring out their target stock-up prices and how to get the most for their money. It's easy for some to assume that just because someone posts a "good deal" on a "good deal" forum, then it really is a good deal. And it usually is, but sometimes it's not - at least not for a lot of people. I'm not saying don't get it. But I am saying if you're trying to stock up on toothpaste and think this is a good deal, I'd hold out for better.
