Default walgreens saga

I want to thank everyone for their comments about my problems at Walgreens. I have decided to take a break for a while, but it will be hard as we don't have any other stores in town except a Kmart and Walmart, with the next closest Walgreens 30 miles away. The current manager will probably be there until he retires because he is a hometown boy, probably in his early 30s, and the turnover at the store is very low. Most of the people working have been there at least 5 or more years--as long as I have been doing this. I did think I had a good relationship with the BA and the AM as I told them about current and upcoming deals and gave them coupons if they needed any. They all knew my name and we even shared information about our families. I didn't necessarily need the "things" I bought, but I used the extra money from the overage and/or coupons to buy milk, eggs, soup, soda, etc. Again, thanks for all the suggestions, and I'll probably only go in once a week or less.

Don't feel so bad, you'll be surprise that even if you're limited to once a week shopping, you can still build a stockpile in time. Concentrate for now on items you really need. Take the time out from WAG as an opportunity to do other things you have neglected or other things you've always wanted to do but didn't have time since you were always out shopping. Its not all loss, it'll get better :)

You know, I took a Walgreens break for a few months, because the stress was not worth it. Last month I decided to try a deal again, and everything was nice. So, I tried another. And then another store. Now I am back to WAG addiction, but with a difference. All of the stores have turned coupon-friendly. I can use as many RR as the register will take, all of my RR print, all the cashiers are excited to see my deals. Even the ones that were grouchy before!

Yep, a break can be a wonderful thing!
