Walgreens Overage on Almay mascara!! through 11/7/09

We have success in Milwaukee. In addition to what was listed, blackest black is a go - cashier and manager weren't very happy that I asked for a coupon book that they hadn't stocked yet, but the sign ON the mascara said to ask for a book for the $4 coupon, at which point, I figured they must be around there somewhere ;)

Got 4 mascaras and a glade thingie - the 4.99 one with 2 scents in it for 2.XX - thanks so much for this find, it is that time of year when I restock the makeup stash :)

AH man, if I had a car I would be headed to Wags right now! Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow. I hope its still working, i need new mascara!

I made the mistake on the 2nd Walgreens I hit and got the 7.99 mascara and got a few items to cover my $4. overage and the end result I owe 8.03 I didn't say anything because when I layed 8 mascara on the counter he picks up an ad and looks thru it, I suppose wondering why I had so many of them. He scans them all and then I gave him the coupon, he sees that it took $32. off so he scrutinized the coupon like you wouldn't beleive. He says I have to call the managaer over and they wisper to each other about the coupon and comes back and says " I can did it this one time" Yah Yah Yah just give me my bag so I can go to the next store

Sorry Manders that your stores are not ringing them up this way. Did you try the correct ones?

Are you sure he needs the lint roller or you need the mascara.

Yes, all of them are ringing up B1G1 but you don't get the overage on the higher priced ones.

But i retract my previous statement, i bought the EXACT same ones just now and it DID WORK!

although now that i look, my reciept shows 2 areas where it took of 20.97 (for the b1g1) is that b/c i bought 2 different shades?

It could be. Like I said earlier, I think all the almy is ringing up B1G1 instead of the b1g1/2.

How long does it takes Walgreens usually to fix their problems. I want to do some more runs tomorrow. I am working on a few scenarios to cover the overage. I wondered in the 1st store, didn't know what to get for $4. Got a whole store to pick from and didn't know what to get, I hate that. I guess we're just spoiled and have everything.
