Walgreens Overage on Almay mascara!! through 11/7/09 - Page 11

That happened to me yesterday too - I got 1 of the mascara w/bonus eye makeup remover and I think that one is the one that didn't get the $ 4.00 taken off. I got 6 mascaras and the coupon only took off for 5 - I got 5 regular ones and 1 w/the bonus makeup remover - I am blaming the bonus one.

I tried to get 3 One Coat mascara with the bonus makeup remover and one Pure Blends foundation. The $4 IVC beeped and the register just wouldn't take it. The cashier said she could enter $4 off maunally but not $12 off all 3. So I asked if we could try the non bonus mascaras and the register took the $4 coupon. Oh, and they were ringing up BOGO free here. I wasn't counting on that since it seems to be mixed, so I was happy. :)

Still working at select stores in cincy but ALOT of empty shelves.

None of the stores has the foundation either..

Still working here in Irmo/Columbia, SC. I went this morning and they had 4 mascaras left for the 6.99 price, a ton of the 7.99 ones and no foundations. I really want to get in on the foundations but alas will probably not be able to as my store sucks at restocking!:sad:

I have 9 mascaras for free plus got overage of 4.04 applied to the lubriderm deal

It was definitely the bonus packs - unfortunately, my store only has those packages. They offered to take the $4 off once :shrug7:

I got 6 of the 7.99 ones today and it worked.

I noticed yesterday that you have to make sure you have enough stuff to absorb the overage. I got 2 6.99 ones yesterday and a .50 lip liner pencil. I thought the liner was higher and the $4 only came off once. So I grabbed another liner pencil and she scanned the coupon and it came off again.

So the lesson is that if you are even only pennies short the last one will not come off at all

Yea!! Great score I got 2 of the b1g1 (double packs) and several of the mascara with free eye liner. They gave me 5 free cans of salmon to buy all my mascara with too. What a deal.

A lady I work with has been trying to find the Almay Pure Blends makeup with the 10 & 5 RR with no luck, none of the stores here carry it and/or it is gone already, she said she did not even see a spot for it.

one of my $4 didn't come off too.. not sure which one, didn't notice any bonus packs! Anway, I am dumb and DID call over the manager....and he was PO'DDDDD at me for the deal. he says, "wait, you paid 2.00 for all this??" (he didn't need to know I got a 2 RR as part of my transaction lol). He says "you can never do this again!" criminals that we all are.

I had plenty of overage and the last $4 would not come off- even when I added even more....
