Walgreens' November deal?

Why do I always lose my messages...on here? Ok, I heard of a rummor that Nov 14 - January 2nd wags is giving away a bottle of champagne with a purchase of a Revlon lipstick or mascara...I need a confirmation on this if anyone knows or heard of anything like this? I am not sure how this would work...voucher, coupon or what? I am thinking of the under age customers...someone, please? Thanks!

None of the Walgreens in my city sell alcohol - I don't think they have a liquor license (required per city ordinance) so I doubt they could legally give away champagne. That would be an interesting promotion though!

The BA told me that the Houston stores are going to start selling booze. Maybe this is going to be a promo for introducing customers to the fact they are now selling it.

I heard that the Walgreens here in Des Moines are going to begin selling alcohol too. CVS in my little Illinois town used to carry a pretty nice liquor selection for a drugstore so who knows?

A Revlon + booze combo sounds so odd, but you never know I suppose. Mascara wands + tipsy doesn't sound good to me. Teehee.

I'm in IL (about an hour outside Chicago), and our store started selling alcohol within the last few months. CVS has sold it at least since I started shopping there over a year ago.

My RiteAid sells beer, which I've always found a little odd. The prices are usually about the same as Walmart or a grocery store.

I wonder if WAGS starts selling beer, could it be purchased w/ RRs?
