With that kind of excuse, I can see a store manaer being very understanding and allowing you to redeem them after the expiration date.

With all other excuses, I would still ask to speak to the store manager to see if they will honor the expired RRs.
Just do not procrastinate, the sooner the better (the clock is ticking).

I do my best to not let it happen. I will use them on milk, eggs whatever we need if I have them and there isn't anything to roll but ultimatly my family comes first so if there's something that comes up then I will let them expire. If the kids get sick or they just have a lot of functions going one all at once I will let them expire but if I can I will use them before whatevers going on or if they are sick and need any meds I go to the store i have something expiring at and use those on what ever they need. Last summer was really bad for my family with illness, my dad and uncle were diagnosed with cancer, my grandparents with alzheimers and with all the hospital visits I was making I lost a lot rr, ecbs, cats. There was to much going on for me to care about coupons at that point.
