Default Walgreens Managers and Limits. How are yours enforcing it?

Issues yesterday. Anybody else?

So anybody elses Wag's having managers enforce the strick limits?

(People are gluttons and will shelf clear if given the choice. But, seriously to have managers here work overtime to "watch". Overboard if you ask me.)

*Before any neg rep on me getting too much stuff and taking advantage. I was trying to get 2 of everything, except Halls (they were out).*

Yea, I had to run back in because I forgot to get shampoo so I grabbed another Chapstick and dentek and the cashier(may have been a manager) said...you cant get these and put them aside....NEVER had that happen before. I understand it, but was a little shocked.

I have a HUTC thread on this as the topic was customers asked my managers to stop clearing shelves. Customers won't so managers will start imposing limits. Can't say I blame the managers for imposing limits.

If they would just use the Card system or something similar...then they could enforce limits without people having to fight for the deals/stress/feelings hurt.

I stopped shopping at wags nearly 6 months ago. I just went in for one or two freebies or near free, and usually left feeling like a criminal. No thanks.

I had one store that told me I couldn't do 2 transactions because it was limit one per customer. So much for me shopping for my mom anymore

I wonder if this means, I've got my 1 lonesome lotion for the WHOLE month. Or what does 1 per customer mean to them? 1 Per Day/Month/Year?

I had a cashier about a year ago try to tell me I couldn't get "that many" (I did NOT clear the shelves, but I did have probably 10 chapsticks) She called the store manager over and the manager asked if the register was letting her do it. She said yes and he didn't see what the problem was. They don't enforce limits at all. My BA's prefer that I come in and buy multitudes because they always have TONS of stuff after the sale is over and they can't get rid of it. There are only two serious couponers who shop at that store (I'm one, the other I got into couponing). They don't have a problem with me clearing shelves. (which I don't do until Saturday night when the sale is almost over.)

I dont shelf clear, but I do often shop alongside my husband. We buy one each of each item and have no problem doing this once at any given store in our area ( we have a ton of Wags) I often make 2 orders to keep MFRs Rewards seperate but 2 orders is my limit. Its not a soapbox, just a preference. I feel like anymore than that and Im expecting too much. I'll go to another store rather than make more than 2 orders. Dh and I went to 2 stores on Sunday and each did 2 orders. The cashiers were pleasant, the BA gave me the October book ( and even looked thru it before totalling my order to see if I could use anything) I left coupons with 2 of 4 cashiers. They had a rough morning with the Oral B and the Gillette RR not working. One store had to reboot the whole system. At my first stop, the Mgr came and printed me an extra EmergenC RR (3.50) to make up for the Oral B ($3) that didnt print. They didnt have to do that. I was really greatful. I had to send in for Nutriserums RR that didnt print and never did get it-- so Im not mailing anymore in.

Besides shopping for 10 people in my home, I also share with people who need a little help. I was able to bring a bag of practical helps and mom pampering items to a depressed aquaintance yesterday. I tell you, thats way more than any pill can do for a human being. Im glad that Wags doesnt use a card system, but Id understand if they did. Ive had some of *my* cashiers tell me tales of some pretty bold and greedy people. Oddly enough, they also seem to often be the ones that are miserable to the staff, which is really too bad for all us kewl and friendly HCW ladies.

I went into Wags today to do the sales...

SHOCK! The shelves were fully stocked...

I did notice though that NONE of the RR items had signs up....
