Walgreens Garnier Deal 8/30-9/26

I just got a Catalina that states

Purchase $20.00 in participating GARNIER hair or skin care products
Between 8/30-9/26/09 Recieve a $10 coupon at checkout. Coupon valid off your next shopping order.

All items must be purchased in one shopping order. Limited to products in stock. No cash back. Offer expires 9/26/09

Participating Brands: Garnier Fructis Shampoo, Conditioner, or Styling product. Garnier Nutritioniste skin care product.

Does anyone have a good scenario for this? This is the first I am hearing about it.

This will be great with next weeks RR, Garnier products on Sale 4/20.00 with a 10.00 RR. There are also .75/1 mfr coupons on shampoo/conditioner and 1.00/1 mfr. coupons as well out there. So if you get the 10.00 RR, use the 1.00/1 mfr coupons and get an additional 10.00 coupon that isn't the advertised RR you'll have a 6.00 MM on your hands. I tend to believe that this coupon offer you recieved is the RR they are advertising in next weeks ad though for Garnier. But still 6.00 for 20.00 worth of large bottles Garnier shampoo/conditioner is not bad. Check the preview ad thread for more scenarios on Garnier products like hair color, I know there are more :)

I think that we are only going to get one $10 cat. Next week the Garnier is 4/$20 which is $5 a bottle. That is way too much for Garnier, IMO. Even after coupons and RRs it works out to be $1.50 a bottle.

It will be on sale the week of the 13th for 3/$10. So:

$20 6 Garnier
- 6 Manu coupons
$14 OOP
Get $10 RR
$4/6 After RR. or $.66 each

I wish I knew whether there would be a better sale later in the month, but the week of the 13th looks the best to me so far.
