I bought several cans of mandarin oranges at two different stores yesterday as fillers, and as I was checking my receipt over yesterday, I noticed that at one store, the coupon did not take off the correct amount. (The other store was fine - not sure why that is...)

Each can rang up at $1.29, and they are on sale for $.49 with the 7-day q, so the Wags q should take off $.80/can. However, I bought 4 cans, and it only took off $2.40 (= $.60/can). It did this on both transactions I did at this store. I was wondering why my total was higher than I expected and initially couldn't see why, because I was pretty sure he had scanned all the coupons. Then I realized the math on the oranges didn't make sense. In the past, I have always just assumed that the Wags q's were all programmed correctly to take off the right amount, but now I know I need to check their math!

Does anyone know how these q's are programmed? Why would it be working fine at one store but not at another less than 2 miles away?
