Walgreens Question for Irishlass or others in the know

So what's the verdict on the new IVCs? Can they still be combined with a man q? Everyone keeps talking about beeps, I never had beeps when I used man q+ESQ before. At my store they will only let you give coupons in the order they want so I can't avoid beeps that way, and I don't want to do any deals if it's not on the up and up. I'd really like to get some cheap Huggies wipes, so anyone who knows if it's ok, do tell!

it seems like when given before manu qs, the new IVCs do cause beepage :(

from reading the threads here it seems like when given after, there is no problem with beepage.

I am hoping the wipes qs I traded for come tomorrow though so I can find out for sure....

I went a few days ago and did one transaction, had 11 wipes, 10 bic pens, and a tea. gave RR and IVC first (forget which order on those) then man qs (11 various wipes qs, 5 $1/2 bic IPs)

the RR and IVC came off fine($4 RR + $22/IVC)
2 of the huggies qs beeped (the madre y mujer ones for .75/1, I'm guessing this is an issue w/ the particular q itself.)
after the huggies qs one bic IP scanned through fine then no more would scan (beeped)

I have used the Velveeta and the Zone bar coupon with no beeps. IVC rang up first, then mq, then rr - no beeps.

No beeps with Velveeta. I used the man, coupon first. HTH.

did the wipes again today with the IVC last... 2 fillers just in case.... (1 RR and the 1 IVC plus man qs on all the wipes) and no beeps....

as far as I know....mfg can be used with these IVC's. I have not heard otherwise in my store nor have I read anything stating they can't be used together.

I went to get some more tonight at one of our 24 hr stores and the guy told me they got an email today that said they can't take both coupons or else Huggies won't reimburse them I will be calling corporate to find out (are they open tomorrow?)

as far as I know....mfg can be used with these IVC's. I have not heard otherwise in my store nor have I read anything stating they can't be used together.

My manager said the same thing and told the cashier to push it through but I just know that when they start up the Easy Saver Catalogs again next month and with this back-to-school brochure, etc there will be lots of beeps causing the manager to come over. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before my manager looks into this and then somehow because the "cash register logic must be correct" the powers-that-be will decide that in fact it will no longer be allowed to combine an IVC and an MC. Just wait for it... I know it's coming. Maybe I'm pessimistic but I've been WAGing for many years. They have become more and more restrictive with each passing year.

Got off the phone with corporate just now (with my problem about using mq and the $2 one). She said the $2 is a store coupon or else it wouldn't have 000's in front of the numbers. She said I can use both and emailed the store to let them know
