    Default Walgreen's brand batteries?

    Has anyone tried these? My kids need AA batteries for their game controllers and I have RR that need to be used. I saw they have them I think it was $9.99 B1G1 for 16. Do these last ok for kids toys? Any and all opinions appreciated.

    If it is for a high-drain device like a video game controller, don't bother. They are fine for TV remotes and the like, but otherwise, they are not good at all. The only way I buy them is on sale like you described, as they are about 1/2 as good as a regular battery.
