How many times can one do a register reward deal??? I really don't know much about shopping at walgreens.

You can do one unique RR deal per transaction. That is, if body wash is free, you can buy one bottle of body wash per transaction and get one RR back. If you buy two, you get one RR back. If both body wash and toothpaste are free, you can buy both items in one transaction and get a RR for each item.

So, if you're looking to stock up on an item, you would have to do many different transactions. This means either do them back-to-back {your manager/store may limit how many deals you can do}, hitting every Walgreens in sight, or dropping by Walgreens every day for a week.

Hi!

I'm new to this website and love it! I do have a couple of Walgreen questions for you all...

First, does Walgreens take IP coupons? Secondly, do you think they would say anything if I purchased two sets of the Bic Pens and use the IP coupon to make them free? Or should I just stick with purchasing one set?

I know there are two Walgreens that I'm going to hit on Monday and maybe a third one...

Also, what is all the writing around the IP coupons when you print them off of Coupons I can see the date and time I think... BUT there is another set of numbers I'm not sure about.

I found the new kids' coloring books at my Wags this week. They are 99cents and include lots of coupons which are Wags coupons that expire in Mar2010. There is one for $2 off on Bandaids which might be useful for the bandaids RR deal this month. Does anyone know if these work like the ones last year where if you bought multiple items and used one coupon the coupon would take off the $ amount on each item purchased?

I'm glad you caught this! I've been thinking, thinking...wouldn't this work: Buy 2 toothbrushes and 2 flosses and use 2 of the $3/2.
$12 - $6 (2X$3) = $6, earn $6RR
Yes, you only need 3 items to generate the RR, but don't you agree buying 4 will match our coupons better?

My Wags both take IP coupons without any problems, but I have read on here about other people having problems with it. My stores would probably let me buy as many as I wanted. I'm guessing that most stores would probably let you use multiple coupons; just make sure you get 2 packs of pens for every coupon you have.
I think the writing around the edge of the coupon is just a security feature to help prevent illegal copying.

I'm thinking that I agree with you on it depends on the walgreens... Actually, I'm thinking that it would depend upon the cashier at my local (an hour away) walgreens. Let me share a story with you...

When the posterboard was on sale for $0.09 each I got 12 (or whatever the limit is... I stocked up since I'm a teacher) and this one cashier scanned each one separately. She said this way she could see when I reached my limit as it would come up regular price anything over the limit. I did have one pesky piece over that I had gotten by mistake and she was right.

Now, at the other Walgreens in town and most other cashiers they just count and put the number in and total it. If they do it this way it doesn't ring up regular price if you go over...

So, I'm going to guess that the cashier in the first store would probably either not take my IP's or just take one... I'm afraid they won't let me use the coupons because it says "may not be combined with any other offer and not subject to doubling". What do you all think? Do you think that

A. The store will still get there money back
B. The cashiers will not read the fine print?

i found the coloring books in the center aisle (near the summer stuff) at my store.......i didnt buy one so i dont know how the coupons work
