Good information to know. I would hate for you or anyone else to lose their jobs for lack of customers. I will always try to find the cosmetics person from now on. Good luck to you and your coworkers.
I am an employee at walgreens and I would just like to put this out there. I work in the cosmetics department. Every 15 mins we need to have a transaction. It doesn't matter if it is dairy, vitamins, or cosmetics. Anything in the store besides RX can be checked out in the cosmetics department. It would really help out me and the other 28,000 Beauty Advisors at walgreens. They are in talks of eliminating the Beauty Advisors and for some they would find them new positions but others could possibly lose their job. It is more convenient for a couponer to check out in cosmetics because there is usually no one behind you and you can take your time. If you do not see anyone in the cosmetics department ask and someone will page someone. Thank you!!!

Thank you I didn't know these. No wonder why they try to bribe me with more coupons. I will definitely do this from now on.![]()

I always try to check out in cosmetics. One morning I was in there and I needed to do about 8 transactions. My favorite cashier was working in cosmetics and as she did all of my transactions she told me that she loved when I came in the store and checked out with her with multiple transactions because they have goals with regards to getting a certain number of transactions in their shift. Well once I heard that I stopped apologizing and feeling guilty about all of the extra work/trouble I cause when I have to do back-to-back transactions! The cashiers LOVE it!
Thanks for letting me know! I will definitely do this to try to help.

Oh, I do hope Walgreens doesn't eliminate the cosmetics counter! That's my favorite place to check out. I always look for a cashier there first, or one that I can call over there. If none are around, then I do check out at the front, but I prefer to check out in cosmetics.
I recommend to everyone couponer or not to check out at the BC. I like both the BAs at my Wags they are helpful and friendly and Wags better not eliminate their positions or I will be super cheesed! Also a way to help out your Wags employees ask if they have any items they get bonuses/commission from and use those as fillers (it's usually .50 candy or something cheap) Easy way to make allies :)
Where are the DEALS!?
One each of Walmart, Wags, HyVee, Aldis, DG, DT County Market NO doubles/triples
FYI... My two little ones love the ladies at the cosmetics counters even more than I do... Now how can that be?![]()
Just moved to Fl. Trying to learn Publix, WinDixie and Walmart- Any suggestions would be welcome!
PLUS -- at the cosmetics counter -- there are typically TONS and TONS of coupons behind the counter that the BA can hook you up with. I know I grab the coupons for customers who are buying makeup or hair products. All you have to do is ask.
Thanks, OP. I always check out at Cosmetics, for this very reason. Also, the BAs are (99% of the time) much more coupon friendly and love seeing us get the great deals.
I agree with another poster. I certainly hope we don't lose our great BAs!!!
