Could someone help me with a Ink cartridge question..plz

I need ink refills pretty much right now. I don't really Wag anymore since they got rid of the Easy saver rebates and they give me such a hard time but I need ink refills really bad. I have not read furture ads...wondered if anyone that has could tell me if there are any upcoming refill deals coming up.

If I do it now:

Black refill is $10 I have a $3.00 off coupon so $7 and color $15.00 -3.00 coupon= $12.00.

Is there anything better in the horizon.


I know...I know...I should have bought with the $5/25 from Thurs. and Friday. Didn't think about it. :shrug7:

gdlrbl on ebay I buy ink refill and do it my self...you can all u do is pull back sticker and insert needle in hole and fill then replace sticker

Ive been buying mine on amazon for 6.99 plus ship but i have an hp which is cheap anyway

Hmmm...if I can get the Black for $10.00(as the coupon states is the reg. price) and get the $3.00 off that will make it $7 then I'll go for it since I won't have shipping costs.

Mine is an HP OfficeJet 6310 All in One and uses HP95 (color) and HP98(Black). I've been getting them refilled at Wags and buying their remanufactured cartridges for about $14.99 when one sale. Need a cheaper option though. The color is mostly not succesful in passing Wags inspection. But don't usually have problems with refilling Black.

But the refilling yourself sounds interesting. What brand do you buy and how much is it? and do you just do Black or Color also? I'm very interested in knowing more. Especially costs...shipping? etc.

I take mine to cartridge World . You can look it up and see if there is one in your area. I pay 9.99 for an hp cartridge.

Got it from the photolab girl at Wags. They have them behind the counter. Nice ting about them is no matter how many cartridges you have refilled at one time you only need to use one coupon. She the system saves it so when she rings up the others it automatically takes the $3.00 off on the rest.

Don't know of any specials coming up soon, sorry. Our WAG changed prices on refills - 12.99 each, doesn't matter whether it's black or color.

I've tried the 'fill it yourself' bit (mine was a Lexmark at the time, may have made a difference) -- after several tries decided to let someone else do the messy work, lol. I've had problems with 'failures' on my cartridges in the past, the technology is pretty sophisticated at WAG refill systems, I trust it. It's pretty much 'operator proof', it walks the employee through EVERY stage of the refill process, so I would trust the error message you get regarding whether the cartride is OK or not. Thank goodness you don't have to pay for the failed cartridge, even if it WAS refilled with ink and only failed the last test (looking for continuity).

Sometimes, if a cartridge sits for a while, the jets get clogged. Depending on the severity of the clog, it may or may not loosen when the tech cleans the cartridge. Also, the circuitry can mess up on the cartridge if you continue to try to use it well after your computer tells you it's time to replace it. I'm sure there are other factors that can cause a failed cartridge, but these are the two I think are most common.

Wags destroyed my S-I-L's HP printer!!!!! They filled it, it exploded in the printer, ruined it!

Find a Cartridge World! HP 94/95/97 is what I use, bring in empties get black for $9.99 color for $17.99 and they last longer than HP!
