Not half-gallons, but gallons? If gallons, that means he's drinking more than one gallon of milk each day. Or to put it differently... Each gallon has 16 one-cup servings. So 8 gallons is 128 one-cup servings. Divide 128 servings by seven days... that averages out to a little more than 18 servings a day! 18! A day! And one would have to assume he's also drinking other beverages like water, maybe juice or soda. That's a lotta liquid intake! LOL. Even if you meant half-gallons, that's 9 servings of milk a day, in addition to any water, juice, etc. ... Well, they do say growing bones need milk, and the teenage years is a good time to stock up the bones on calcium. But, still, that's a lotta milk in just one day. And yes, you do need some cheap milk. |
