Walgreens RR + Manufacturers Q Question

I went into Walgreens the other day to buy Edge shaving gel which was buy one for $2.99 and get $1.00 RR. I had a $.75 Q for it also. I used my Q and then my RR didn't print. The manager said it was some kind of loop blocker. They gave me one of those forms to fill out and mail in, but by the time I do that I will get like $.50 by the time I pay for the stamp. Anyway, is that supposed to happen? Because I just did the same thing the other day with Colgate- used a Q and got the RR and it worked just fine. What's up with that? Walgreens is getting more and more where I just don't go there because somehow, they seem to never let me actually save any money. There's no point if I can't save a few bucks. I can just go to CVS.

sounds to me like it was a "glitch" for some reason that your RR didn't print. You don't have to mail the form in try this:

Q: My RR/Catalina didn't print. What do I do ?
A1: The store will give you a form to fill out and mail in to catalina
