Walgreens Ad 5/31-6/6 (full ad scan)

Yeah, I'll get them free, but I won't get paid to take them...

It wouldn't be such a big deal, but this is one item I REALLY need. I keep a stash in my work locker. I work 12 hrs on my feet in production. If it isn't my feet, it's my back. I can't make it through the shifts without some help....but that's another story. There is a medical reason for it, but I can't do my job if I am on Rx's. Sooooo, OTC is the best bet for me.

Before we get distracted on why I need them so much and someone pipes up with "find another job", let me say, I am working on it. I am in school to be a Pharmacy Tech and hopefully won't have to be in production much longer. I guess I just won't be applying to this particular Wags. Can you imagine the manager's face when I show up for the interview?

Maybe you could just go back and buy another tomorrow and the next day, etc. I would say you are a new customer on another day...

I dont want to hijack this thread but you do realize being a PT isnt gonna be much better for your back/legs/feet right?
Your still working on concrete with a small amount of carpet (if any) over it at most retail and hospital settings.
And you still have to be standing up on your feet for your entire shift.
Which may not be 12 hours but if you get a hospital job it will possibly be
that long (or longer)....PT is really hard on your body as well.

I ran in Wags near my moms yesterday and they had ONE box of ecotrin and NO meters and this was after I asked them to order me/hold meters almost 2 weeks ago.
And my dad takes the ecotrin every day too, matter of fact I went ahead and used RRS to buy him a big box for 14.49 - 2 mq - 5RR back b/c I had told him Id get him some of the free ones. I did get one hair dryer so I was very happy about that but Id love to have had enough rrs/cash to have gotten another one but maybe they will get meters in and still have the 1 hair dryer left at the end of the week.

OHHHH AND its their grand opening and guess what? They didnt get ANY sales Ads in!! Yea right I think they are hiding them so that they dont have to give out the $3/$10 and RX GC qs.

just a thought...ask the manager what the computer shows as being at the store for the monitors...i found out my store that hasn't gotten a monitor in 3 weeks was showing they had 3 in the store...since it shows they hadn't sold any in 3 weeks the system wasn't allowing the order to go through...the manager cleared the inventory and lo and behold monitors showed up at the store :)

It's not the being on my feet all day that's killing me. It's the continuous lifting. I do about 600 reps at 15 lbs over the 12 hrs. I figured out I burn about 2000 to 3000 calories a shift because of the continuous aerobics. To think, ppl pay good money for this kind of work out

They didn't have any of these at the store that was opening near me either! and of course I left mine at home. I ended up buying a newspaper. The ( I think Asst.) Manager who I recognized from an older store tried to tell me I couldn't use rrs on newpapers and stuff and it was a whole big thing just b/c I didn't hand the $3/$10 over first before the rrs... long story.. sigh anyways.

I did the deal yesterday at Walgreens. I was shocked. Sometimes I wonder if they jack up the prices for these deals. The vitamins were $19.00 each. I got the buy one get one free, but still $19.00??

AND, I can't believe I did this, lol - I bought the Airwick refills, and don't even own the Airwick itself. I went ahead and bought the Airwick too, but then I realized, I think I have a coupon for it. So, I'm going to take it back and get a refund, then go back tomorrow, and buy it and use my coupon.

I got the straightener instead of the blow dryer, I already have a blow dryer.

My total before coupons was about $109, minus coupons was $97, and deducting my RR's, the total came down to $75.

I'm excited, I don't have to buy shampoo for a while. I have alot of razors too.

BUT, here's my question. since I bought a Kellogg item ( I think this was from the Cheez its ) and on my next shopping trip, can I use that $3.00 RR I recd for Kellogg's Cereal?

TODAY I FOUND A BONUS PACK OF BIC SOLEIL TRIPLE BLADE (SENSITIVE SKIN..ORANGE PACKAGE)...IT WAS THE 4 RAZORS + 2. THESE DO WORK FOR THE $1 RR DEAL (I bought them).
