Walgreens refused rr on pert deal. any idea why?

I have a $2 rr from buying 2 pkgs of huggies. I went today and picked up 2 bottles of pert on sale for 2/$5. I had 2 $1 MFs.

So $5 - $2mf=$3 plus tax. Then I gave him the rr and it beeped. The message said 'exceeds item value." Do i still need a filler if one of my Qs is a rr? :shrug7:

You needed a filler. RR's are considered manufacturer coupons.. so you had 2 items.. and 3 coupons.. hth
