Walgreens Found a Treasure Trove! (Pain Meds & Food) found 5/7

Today I found at my WAGS:

**Various sm boxes of pain relievers
Some were WAGS brand, others like Excedrine, Tylenol, Ecotrin, Bayer - most were .50 (WAGS) but none more than $2 (100 ct Excedrine)

(lots of coupon match ups here!)

** Campfire Marshmallows .35 per bag
** Peter Pan Chunky PB .87 (gotta be coupons for this!)
** Spam singles .83 (any coupons out there now?)
** Celestial Seasons Tea .95 (think the older coupons are still valid :shrug7:)
** Lipton Family Pack Iced Tea Brew .80
** Dunkin Donuts Dark Roast 2.19/bag (used $1.50/2 from RP last month)
** Pepper Mills .25
** True North Almond mix 1.87
** Various Feminine pads, tampons etc (all under $2)
** Vivitar Binoculars 7.99
** Sardines .30 per can
** Playtex Petals - 1.37
** Wishbone Italian 8oz-.87

i was in Wags last night, found a few clearance things, but not as many as you did!!

I have seen many of those things listed by the OP on clearance at my local store. But, the prices are higher on the clearance tags. I have looked at the marshmallows several times and they are nearly a dollar. I saw the pepper mills a couple of nights ago for $0.70.

I had clearance price checked at several stores today and practically all of them had different prices! Some were not on clearance at all. Other stores had the clearance but the prices were off by 10 or 15 cents. Are these put in by the stores or by corporate?

My prices are higher too and some aren't even on clearance at all. Glad OP found a good deal though!

I believe WG does 25% off then 50% and 75%. So if the item is $3.99 in one store it would go $2.99 then $1.99 and $.99 ~ but if it is $4.19 in a different store it would go $3.14 then $2.09 and $1.04.

My stores can vary $.20 or so within a few miles of one another.

Not all stores are updating the tags. I found Walgreens "Stay Awake" for $5.99 on clearance at one store, but it rang up only $1.79. It's definitely worth asking for a price check!
