I have a lot of these coupons and see in the OP where it says YMMV on using them, but like you I don't see any wording that suggests these coupons are not to be used for Band Aids. I used them a couple of weeks ago for a Band Aid deal at Rite Aid with no problem, but a friend ran into problems when she tried to use hers because of that whole "not what's pictured" thing. I used them for the Band Aid antiseptic wash, but hadn't even considered shampoo and such. Huh. That just broadened my horizon.

I'm just wondering if others are having problems with this deal or if it's mostly going through fine. There's no reason they shouldn't take these coupons since it clearly says any two and there's no wording that limits that to just first aid products as pictured.

I added the YMMV, for the very reason you stated. Some cashiers/managers will argue that certain items are not pictured and/or they have to be the Red Cross/First Aid items, such as tape, gauze pads, etc.

would it be ok for me to try using this coupon on baby wash/lotion??
(waiting on a sale of course, but I was wondering...) course it would be ok if my cashier told me no, I would understand since it is a really vague coupon(IMO)

I believe the official decision on the J&J blinkie was that it could be used on anything since it did not state what types of J&J products, whereas the huge folded coupon was for first aid products. I know we used ours on bandaids and first aid items at RA the other week though, so no clue how they would take them on lotion, wash, etc.
