Walgreens Worst day ever:( a cautionary tale

I went to Walgreens to do my deals. Which were great! I set down my coupons book to tear out a coupon from the ad and set the ad back down in my cart on top of my book. I realized I was running late so I grabbed my stuff and left my coupon book in the cart with all of my coupons. My $10 Cats from Safeway everything is gone. I called the store and even went back and looked in the trash. They are long gone. Be careful not to set your coupon books down:(! :shrug7:

That is awful!! Sad to think someone would just snatch it up instead of turning it in! Sorry!!!

I am afraid of doing that so I actually cary a reuseable shopping bag that I keep my binder in. Any time I am not looking in it it goes straight back in the bag. I figure I am not likely to leave a bag of groceries in the cart and it is just like my groceries.
