Tips: Cheap Fillers

Cadbury eggs are clearanced at my store for 5 cents. There was some other Easter stuff (novelty toys, a basket, maybe some other candy) for $.25.

Today, I used some Pure American individual flavored waters in the refrigerated case that were clearanced to $0.35 each for fillers.:smile77:

Those punch balloons that are .59 cents in the toy isle is what I like to get. I give them as part of birthday gifts for parties.

Hallmark gift wrap/tissue on sale for .39 this week (4/26) w/ in-ad coupon. I don't think those count towards your coupon vs. item limit....do they?

I found tiny little bottles of breath drops for 14 cents in the clearance area the other day.

I found some .07 stubby yellow highlighters in the clearance. Regular price 3/$1

Spring pencils are .39 each, found them in the seasonal aisle.

You're right that the 7day coupons don't count toward your limit. Just be aware that the .39 sale is for the wrapping paper that is usually .99. My store was all out of it, and I was purchasing some that I thought was the right one (because it was the one pictured on the 7day coupon and the right size), and it wouldn't work - messed up my whole transaction! So just be sure you get the right ones!
