Walgreens If Glade Impressions gave you a MIGRAINE!!

Ok so I didn't even think to draw the conclusion that the new Glade Lasting Impressions Scented Oil fan thingy was what was suddenly causing my onslaught of migraine's every time I was home. I, of course, attributed that to my children or my DH . Well...someone awhile back posted she noticed she got a migraine immediately after plugging hers in. So, when the next migraine came I thought what the heck and unplugged it...totally :shrug7: but dying to get rid of the headache. Sure enough...I left them unplugged for a couple days and wa la...no more headaches. So...here I am :sad: and frustrated b/c I bought oodles of them like everyone else did. So, I looked on the back of one of the packages and found the number to SEC Johnson and called them. They took a "medical report" :shrug7: and then sent me out q's for free refills so I could try different scents to see if I have the same reaction. I was told to call back if I had any further issues. Very nice people and great service . Thought I'd share in case anyone else had this issue. Oh and btw, I had it on the lowest setting too and have never had any issues like this before with any other kinds of scents.

I had the same issue with the tri-scents
The fragrance was so sweet and sticky that it made me nauseaus (sp?)

My husband and I both got headaches when I plugged in the Glade Impressions (the Hawaiian scent). I too had it on the lowest setting, but it was soooo strong, just overwhelming. I'll be giving all of mine away in gift baskets. Free headaches, anyone?
I like the Apple Cinnamon Sense&Spray, but the Fresh Linen variety gave us headaches too. Sheesh. Prolly killing more brain cells. :hectic1:

I am with you on this one. I got a ton of these and now cannot use a one. They drive my head wild!!!! I love th apple ones and thought I would try this scent also and will never purchase the particular flavor again. BLAH!!!!! Insta-headache, give it to the people you don't like.

the tri scents gave me a migraine too... the ocean breeze variety. maybe i should have called and told them that!

That's funny. I bought the Glade Wisp Candles, the Vanilla, and the clean linen did the same thing. I exchanged a few for the apple cinnamon, and that one was fine. I should call CS, and see what they will do.

You know I originally plugged my lasting Impressions into my craft room. And although the fan stays on constantly int here I usually shut the door to keep the kitty out. Well everytime I would go in there to do some work it was like a big heavy wall of smell. It got so bad I just took it out and put it in the hall. The smell is not as concentrated anymore and I barely notice it.

Okay light bulb just went on... I've been getting horrendous migraines the last few weeks... Thought it was hormonal or just stress... I've had that stupid Clean Linen Sense & Spray in my living room.

Come to think of it, I only got the headaches when I was in the living room. Even thought maybe it could've been from me being on my laptop and not sitting properly, but I've had laptops for 3 years now and never an issue. (laptop is in the living room so I can watch kidlets)

Talk about an AH-HA moment.

I'm gonna call them and let them know.

wow that's scary.i wonder what's in it that causes the headaches .What are they doing to us?i think they are trying to kill our smart coupon using brain cells with there very nice smelly free stuff so we go out and buy other products full price
