Default Walgreens Checking a stores stock online

I swear I read in a thread on here, or somewhere else, where you could check a stores stock on the Walgreens website. I looked in the FAQ thread but didn't see it in there . . . unless I read over it.

When you go to the walgreens site, type in the name of the product in the search box. Underneath the "add to cart" button is a link to "check my store"--click on that and it will prompt you to enter the zip code and find the stores in that area with stock. HTH.

I like this feature but sometimes it is not accurate. I used it to find if the dove soaps were in stock and it said they were..get to the store and none :(

I agree, it's not always accurate and so much can happen at a store in a two minutes drive too! It's best to just call and have them set aside for you if you have a longer drive (maybe that's what happened with the dove ) Plus they could be in stock but set aside for employees to buy after their shift is over- I've seen this at CVS. Also, it just tells you there are in stock and not how many they are so like for the dove deal you need 10 but there might only be 3, ya know?

    It's better then nothing though.

I really wouldn't depend on that being accurate (at any retailer really), but the Walgreens ones are updated as 'in stock' as of midnight the night before and it also depends on each store being 100% accurate on their counts, everything faced blah blah. Also 'in stock' only means the computer shows at least 1.
