    Default Walgreens Stimulus Package

Every Friday my Wags is having what they call their "stimulus" sale. Last week I got free Barbie band aids ( .79/ free after coloring book coupon) and Barbie toothbrushes(.79/ free after coloring book coupon). Tomorrow they have lots of "W" products, but what sticks out for me is .89c Garnier, shampoo, cond, and stylers. Am I crazy to think that the ESQ will work for these? If so that is major overage because I still have a some MQ's also. They have limits on everything but the Garnier. I had not planned to go back tomorrow but I think that I will have to give it a shot. I would like to use the overage on formula. I know they have a ton in stock if the employees leave any.LOL(They better because the other day they were complaining about a few other couponers at this location that like to clear the shelves) BA said they are putting what they want in back. I will let you know how it goes.

Wow some great prices! I would just use your manufacturer coupons and buy 5, use 4 coupons to prevent beeps. My Wags won't adjust down to make them all free.

In January the ESC was automatically adjusting itself down for clearanced Garnier stuff, i.e. the $2/1 ESC only took off $1.79 if the shampoo I bought was $1.79. You COULD possibly combine Man/ES coupons for some overage but YMMV bc the price of the item is $0.89 and a $1 coupon may beep. GL tho!

I hope your trip went well. In my experience the IVC adjusts down to the price of the product but with the man. Q maybe you were able to get some overage! I wish our WAGs had sales like that, often times we don't even get the clearance deals everyone else gets.

Well, the sale price was actually $2.89 and then they used the esq to make it .89. I used the Man q's I had and got those. The BA said "thats all your getting, it's only .89c?" I told her I didn't need it so if it was not free I wasn't getting any more. I have to say that it is agreat feeling to know that you don't have to pay even .89c for shampoo which before couponing would have been a great price. I thought it was to good to be true. But I got some free shampoo and free toothpaste that was on clearance, so not a completely wasted trip.

I also was there on Friday and thought that the shampoo was a great deal with coupons. While I was checking out I was yelled at by on of the cashiers telling me that I was not allowed to use my coupons, due to the fact that the item was already .89 cents. She was so rude that I am not sure that I want to go back. I feel that if we are able to get a great deal then we should be able to get that deal. Right know in this country it so hard to get things that you need and if there is a way that we all are able to help ourselves then that is what we should do. I feel that, that cashier should of not been so rude. It is her job to help the customers and help them out as much as she can. There is no reason someone should be rude to any customer.
