this remark is more for the lady that said the manager gave u an attitude. Buying 14 boxes of razors off there shelf will cause this reaction, believe me I have been there done that called corporate and it didn't help. I went in and talked to the STORE manager about it. She put it this way...... say i come in and buy the whole shelf of product and someone from this website comes in right after me wanting the same thing? She said they get allot of angry customers cause the product is gone. She suggested before i come in to give her a call or pay her a visit on Mon (this is there order date) so that she can order up for me that way i don't clean her shlef out. She also informed me even though the coupon dosent have a limit the store manager can put a limit on it if they believe it is a hot seller and they are very limited! so in order to keep some of the goodies left at my local walgreens for other couppon shoppers Iam making a list of what i want and how many. That way everyone is HAPPY!

for 37 cent subtotal (had to pay 1.77 oop due to tax though!!) We got

2 bic soleil razors (BOGO minus $3/1 minus $3 IVC)
2 refill cartridges (BOGO minus $3/1 minus $3 IVC)
2 12-packs of pop, 1 sunkist 1 DP (sale 4/10 used $1/1 peelie)

when she rang it all up it wouldn't take the $1 and couldn't figure it out, but I surmised it was because it wouldn't let it go under the tax mark, so add a 39 cent reeses to our total and there you go!

Second Wags got

2 bic soliel razors (BOGO minus $3/1 minus $3 IVC)
2 refills (BOGO minus $3/1 minus $3 IVC)
2 12-packs as above
2 clearance glade glass things, used BOGO

3rd Wags

2 bic soliel razors (BOGO minus $3/1 minus $3 IVC)
2 refills (BOGO minus $3/1 minus $3 IVC)
BIO infusion deal, so WILL be free
2 glade glass scents, used BOGO q, from clearance shelf
3 packs of the 89c paper plates (7day)
1 clearance Almay lip gloss (no q)

total oop for the day 1.77, 3.75 and 14.**. Will get back $10 MIR plus $1 for 10%.

wish I had had more Bic q's, but I think we did pretty well!!!

So I went today hoping against hope that they would still have everything in stock. I know it's not usually a good idea to go on Saturday. :hectic1: I was super lucky and made out like a bandit. Easily my best shopping trip ever. Here's what I got.
2 pizzas
4 Skippy PB
9 bag of Chex Mix
8 Bic Soliel razors
8 refills
4 Suave shamp/conditioners
2 waters and a soda (to cover tax and RR)

Total before coupons approx $90

Total after coupons and RR.....approx $3 (that was all tax, damn thing )

I paid for that with my WAGS GC....whoohoo!! :dance2:

I had gone into it expect to pay about $25 so I was shocked that it was so low. I didn't take into account the $3 ESC coming off all 16 razor/refills, I had only figured in 8 total because of the BOGO (which I didn't know about ahead of time).

So looks like this time it did me good to wait until the last minute to go, otherwise I wouldn't of had the BOGO. I was so thrilled I had to call everyone I know to tell them...

oh you guys I feel like such an Idiot. I did the soleil deal but I didn't realize there would be an overage because of the B1g1F. After she scanned my $3 wag coupon she could only take 1-2 of $MQ's before the price was below $3.00 total. For future reference if there is ever an overage I shoudl be buying other thing so it will apply to them correct?

I did 14 refills so It rang up at 6.99 x 7= 48.93
the $3 Wags took off 42.00
She rang through 2 $3 MQ leaving me at .93 + tax.
So did I really have 5 more $3 MQ that I could have applied if I had $15 worth of merchandise and end up getting all that free?

Don't feel like an idiot. We all mess up like that sometimes. Take it as learning experience and next time you'll know. :-) I was surprised by the overage too.

you did FINE! Yes you are right you should have bought things to cover the overage, but you'll know for next time! The BOGO razors is rumered to go thru December, so you need to find a store that will take 2 for the 2 items in the BOGO so at least they'll be free... razors for everyone!

Just remember that if you are going to have overage, to just buy fillers to cover the overage. Filler can be anything like , candy bar, pencils, travel tissue etc.... buy fillers that you do not have a coupon for.

quick trip. been not hitting Walgreens lately cause i was NOT impressed with the sales lately. BUT that venus sale and sure called to me! LOL i had the $4 off on the venus coupons from vocalpoint so i got those and some sures. i went to 3 different walgreens to spread the love.
so spent $30 on my rebate card but got back $36 in RR. i am happy

I'm new to the site, it's great! I'm also a Walgreen employee and a veteran drug store employee having been employed in the past by two of the other major ones. Walgreen's deals are hard to beat...working there I have the time to really cash in. Glad to see so many of you cashed in on the bic soleil deal. My manager certainly would appreciate knowing ahead of time the quantities customers want, as a poster stated, so that she can order plenty. Because they can, and will limit quantities if necessary. Happy shopping, I look forward to posting.
