    Exactly the thread I was gonna start!
    I too went today and the manager accused me of coupon fraud! How is it coupon fraud when you are trying to use 1 wag coupon and 1 mnf coupon? I had no problem at the first store.
    I had such a bad experience at my store. The manager raised her voice at me. She was talking to me like I was her child! There were other customers around. I wrote the company today also and gave the managers name. It was the most humilating and degrating experience I have ever had! What happened to customer service?
    Why put the wag coupons out if you can't use them?! I asked in my email for their policy.
    I was so upset when I left there. I'm actually thinking about consulting with an attorney because being accused of coupon fraud is no joke. Fraud is fraud and when you are accused that is slander! I'm not going that far yet. My sister said I should have called the police when she accused me of that. I laughed at her though. I don't want to be known as the crazy lady who calls the cops over coupons! I'm not a confrentational person so I just simply (with a smile) told her that I would not be purchasing anything, collected my coupons, and started to walk out... She continued to badger me saying that we (my sister and I) were spoken to by the district manager and another manager about this... Noone ever called either of us. Noone spoke with us. She wouldn't accept that. She continued to insist that they did!
    By then, I was emotionally distressed,humiliated,degrated, and just ready to leave. I asked what ever happened to customer service and why she felt the need to treat people so poorly. She smiled and said "have a nice day". I then asked for the district phone #. I tried to call as soon as I left but they were closed so I came home and wrote an email to them. I will call tomorrow so I can talk to someone and get a verbal on what their policy on combining wag coupons with mnf coupons is so when I go down to a store a few towns over I can tell them who I spoke with and what they said.
    What is the big deal. Doesn't the store get reimbursed for coupons? It's not like they're loosing money. IF that were the case noone would accept coupons!
    Ugh, stressful day at work and then all that! Makes me want to never go back to a wag again. :(

I did fill out the customer complaint form this morning and their website states they have 48 hours to respond. I'll guess I just have to see what they say. If it will be a generic response or what....
    FYI - It's now Friday morning & I still haven't heard anything from Walgreens customer service from when I submitted my Consumer Relations form on Monday. I did receive a generic e-mail Monday afternoon saying someone would respond to my comments within 2 business days.....but it's been way past 2 business days now. I was hoping to get a current copy of their corporate coupon policy to take to the two stores that denied/accused me (of coupon fraud). At this point, I'd have to say I'm probably done with WAGS due to the lack of service (both in person and their consumer relations department).

    This is just my thoughts.....
    I would think the email you sent in would go from Corp. to the District Office. From the District Office it should go to the Store Manager. The Store Manager should be the person to contact you. You can always contact the District Office and talk to them about your situation, since it has been way past 2 business days.

    Below is the response I received via e-mail. You were right, Irishlass, it did come from the store manager. I [blanked] out the names and store locations because I'm not looking to "name names" or anything, only figure out what I did wrong or what they did wrong or whatever. It seems like a generic response to me. ??? I guess I just have to pick my battles and this isn't one of them......


    (My name is [blank] and I am the store manager at the Walgreens in [blank]. I understand that there was some issue in your using of coupons at this location as well as the location on [blank]. First of all, I would like to extend an apology to you. I am sorry for the inconvenience you received at these locations. I assure you that we are looking into the issue to ensure that the proper procedures are being followed. I understand your frustration and I know that our system isn't perfect, but we strive to make as efficient for you, the customer, as possible. I appreciate your time in reading this as well as making us aware of the situation. I have also discussed this will the store manager, [blank], at the [blank] location. If there is anything further that we can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact us.)

    A filler is an item used for overage in some cases or if you use RR that are considered MFG coupons, you will need a filler(pencil, Wags tissues, etc) for each RR you use if you have already used a MFG coupon on all of your purchases in that transaction. HTH

    I guess I don't understand. I have checked my local weekly ad and I can't find that garneir fructis is on sale for $2.99. Is that the everyday price for the item or is it actually on sale and just not in my area? I am located in Central Indiana? Thanks again

    I think they are referring to last week when it was on sale for 2.99. It's not on sale this week.

    I like to save money as well as the next person during this bad economy, but; some coupon shoppers go OVERBOARD... Why would some go and clear out an intire shelf of merchandise to pay nothing and leave nothing for the rest of the customers? This doesn't make any sense to me. How many does one erson need?
