Walgreens ivc

Ok, so I am confused...I thought that the IVC coupons would take off the amount of the coupon.

I went to walgreens and got 2 sense and sprays (they were clearanced for 2.69)
The IVC coupon is for $4 and the manu is $4...so I gave my manu's over, then the IVC...well the IVC only took off 2.69. Is this right? This happened with all my clearance items, so I got no overage. Did I hand them in the right order? Is it Manu's then IVC? Or am I backwards? TIA

You did the right order-I have no idea if that's what normally happens, someone else will know I'm sure. Did you still end up with overage?

i wish that normally happened. I tried to get mylanta on clearance for $1.49 today with a $2 IVC and the cashier wouldnt even scan it b/c she said the ivc was more that the price :(

That's the only q problem I have at my Wags. If an item's value is less than the q they won't push the q thru. I haven't argued with em on it, suppose I could, but since I have luck with everything else I don't think I'll push it. Hopefully they'll still like me after all the Glade this coming week

You gave the coupons in the right order. However, for items that are clearanced and less than the value of the IVC, the IVC will only take off upto the price of the item, it won't give you overage. HTH!

Ok, that makes sense. I did the mylanta and the excederine too...I thought I would have gotten a bunch of overage from them, but nadda. My total was WAY higher than I had planned. Oh wells. I got 8 boxes of nutripals for .69 each cause they were clearanced and the $2 coloring book Q.
