Default Walgreens Gilette Travel Size Body Wash - Money Maker

PG insert from 3/1/09 has $2 off Gilette body wass, does NOT exclude travel size.

I think the travel size are $.99 so this would be a money maker OR a way to reduce your bill by $1.01 if you have cashiers who don't do overage.

at walgreens if its over the amount of your purchase the q will beep. cashier will more than likely either adjust it or deny it. but if you get 3 of them your total will be 2.97 and the $2 q will go through fine.

    Hi,

I did this today- I had 3 $2 off of 2 coupons, and 6 $2 off of 1 coupons, so I got 12 of the trial sizes for free.

I think they gave me the overage too, because my total was less than I expected (I bought some other things). The coupons didn't even beep.

I also used this one, combined with a few other deals, today . . . on the first 4 times it worked just fine. The last time, when all I had for other stuff was a gallon of milk, it didn't work and the manager said it wouldn't work because it was over the cost of the item.

I started to explain that it had worked but then just said never mind and had them take it off.

may try it again at another store . . .

Where does Walgreen's keep the trial sizes? Are they in a designated aisle or are they simply next to like products in larger sizes?

    Thanks!

Some stores have a special location, others do not. If you cannot find them just ask. The trial sizes of Gillette are not a product our store has stocked on a regular basis so whatever is left is in a "fishbowl" located near the rest of the trial sizes. Get them while you can~ Hope this helps.
    Happy Couponing!

What in the world are you going to do with all those mini bottles of body wash? I can here DH now when he gets in the shower and sees a bunch of trial size body wash.
