That is just STUPID! The ONLY reason I go to wags is because of ivc's/rebates/RR.....I might...just might....go in for an RR deal (If its good enough), unless they take those away too.....

I had a very unpleasant experience today at my local Walgreens over the ink cartridge refill rebate. To make a long story short, I took an ink cartridge in to be refilled. The photo person refilled it and my receipt said "photo finishing" or "photo processing." I'm not sure which because I don't have the receipt. I asked for a receipt that said "ink cartridge refill" or something like that. The Executive Asst. Store Mgr. told me there was no way to do that. He was horribly rude to me when I told him the receipt I got in December said "Inkjet Refill." He treated me like dirt. I told him to just refund my money, which he did. I asked for my cartridge back. He refused to give it to me because it had been refilled. I told him to "evacuate" the cartridge and give it back to me. He said there was no way to do that, which is not true. I left and went to another Walgreens and talked to the asst. mgr. about what happened to me at the other store. She called the EasySaver people and they told her that receipts that say "photo processing" or "photo finishing" will not be honored for the ink cartridge refill rebate even if the store gives the customer something verifying that the receipt is for an ink cartridge refill. The photo person called the other store and told them to "evacuate" my cartridge and return it to me. They said they would. I went there and had to deal with the same mgr. that was so rude to me. He handed me my cartridge and a receipt for $0 that says, surprise, "inkjet refill." This from the guy that said there's no way to do that!!!

There's a lot more to this story but I have tried to net it out. I trade at this particular Walgreens a lot and I have never experienced such rude treatment. One of the "cool" store clerks was standing right there when the asst. mgr. treated me link dirt. She said I should definitely call corporate about the way I was treated. She said the asst. mgr. was definitely out of line but she couldn't speak up because he's a manager.

I hope those of you who want to do the ink cartridge refill rebate deal are able to get a receipt that will enable you to get the rebate. And I certainly hope you are not treated the way I was treated if you ask for a proper receipt.

my store had the vitamin water for $1 yesterday. There is a $1/1 manuf. coupon out.
so 2 vitamin water =$2 - 2($1 manuf.)=$0- $1/2 wag =-$1

does that sound right?
i can get it free at jewel but if i can make $ off of it at walgreens that would be great.

sounds right to me, as long as the $1 price wasnt a weekly price. I know I saw it 2/$1 at my store prior to this week(after IVC), but it was advertised this past week in the ad as 2/$2(no mention of the IVC) and I don't know if it goes back up starting today(Sunday). I'd be sure to price check it first before I went to check out.

Went to Walgreens today and the Crest Pro-Health toothpaste that is part of the $5 when you buy 4 rebate (rebate #5) was in a display box on the top shelf in the toothpaste isle with a tear pad of mail in rebates.
Buy one 4.2oz or larger Crest Pro Health Toothpaste and get a coupon by mail for one FREE 4.2 oz up to $3.25. Must be postmarked by 9/30/09.

On the $5 Hershey's rebate, do you have to buy the items pictured, or will any Hershey's chocolates do? Specifically, I bought $3 of the items pictured, but I also picked up a package of Hershey's Bliss. Will ESR honor the offer, or do I need to pick up one more bag of candy?

I asked about the Bliss, if it was included, and irishlass said no. so I would think you need another bag.

can you tell me how much it rang up?(the bliss?)

They were 2/$7. After the ESQ ($1 off 2) and 2 $1/1, I ended up paying $4 for two bags.
