I don't think this is the much feared loyalty program. This sounds like they're trying to keep up with CVS and its Minute Clinic.

I think this is a total different program.
Like I mentioned in another thread, My Manager was ordering items and one of the items was a $1.00 MIR on the item, so it sounds to me like there will still be some sort of rebate program

Was it a Walgreens MIR or was it a manufacturer's MIR?

This sounds a lot like their "W" card -- where you pay an annual fee and then you get drug discounts and a discount on Walgreens brand products.

all the ad bulletin said was $1 rebate, and that is what they have said in the past on the ESR rebates.
Don't know if April will ever get here so I can see if/what May's ESR (if there is one) looks like
