Walgreens Funny Kraft Rebate Story

I was looking at my pending rebates and they paid me twice on the Kraft rebate ($5.00). So, I called them... karma, you know. Plus, I kind of think it's unethical to keep the money. I'd be pretty po'd if they kept my $5.00.

The woman said they couldn't take it back, so I could have it. I was like, "Gee... I kind of feel guilty about it." She said, "Well, the system felt that you were eligible for 2 rebates, so don't."

Kind of funny. Anyone else get two rebates?

Yeah, mine showed up three times, too! I called, and they said if there were any problems, they would clear them up.... whatever that means. We'll see what happens when they actually add it to my card.

They put mine in 3 times too and they did add it to my card it was loaded already. I just thought it would clear up when they loaded it.

Mine came through 5 times!!! Granted, I bought lots of Kraft (after confirming there was no limit with the Easy Saver rep), but I thought I only qualified for the rebate 3 times, not 5. Went round and round about it with a different rep (when I saw it had gone through 5 times), who then decided that I only was entitled to 1 rebate, at which point I said "Forget it, if you can't get it right, I would rather you make a mistake in my favor than in yours." That was 2 days ago and it hasn't changed yet. Guess I'll just have to wait and see if it drops to 3 rebates.
