Hot Button Walgreens Free/MM $3.00 on Theraflu ESR and rebate!

Hi! I'm not sure if this is posted anywhere else. I tried to do a search and didn't find anything. I'll let the mods take care of it if I made a mistake. I also hope that I'm not doing anything wrong on this either, but here goes. WAGS has Theraflu warming relief on sale this week 2/$10. There is a $2.00 off printable on their website. I was able to print twice. Submit for WAGs rebate #12 on form. Then, there was also a mail in rebate for up to $6.99 in a recent insert ( I'm not positive on the date, but I think it might have been in the 10/19 SS--(I cut all of my coupons and rebates out--I just threw the q's out cuz they expired 1-31, but the rebate didn't!)The rebate clearly states that you can get up to $6.99 back minus the $2.00 q. It has to be postmarked by 2/17/09. So, I not only submitted ESR online but also the man. rebate.2 Theraflu $10.002 $2 q -4.00total oop $6.00 + taxsubmit for $6.00 wags (on a card so 10% added)submit for $3.00 man. ($5.00 sale minus the $2.00 q)I hope this works and helps for someone!

Mine says that the reciept must be dated before 1/31/09 and the envelope must be postmarked by 1/31 as well.

I think I know what you are talking about but it says To receive your Money Back check by mail: Buy any Theraflu HOt liquids or Theraflu Warming relief syrup product or any Triaminic product and mail this certificate, or a 3X5 index card with your name, address(street, city, state, zip, phone) and the words"Theraflu/Triaminic Money back offer" and the actual product, with the original packaging unopened, along with the original store-identified cash register recipt dated between 10/1/08 and 3/31/09 with the purchase price circled"

It seems like you have to send the product back to get your check.

I would think the shipping alone would cost a fortune and not be worth it.

I think the wording on the ad said something about preparing for the flu season. So, they want you to buy the product, and if you dont need it through the flu season, you could basically return it. Its not really a rebate, you are returning the product.

Darn! You are probably right...I just sent in the wrapping so I will probably not get anything back. I thought I had a good one and didn't pay attention to that part. It is strange...I guess I won't be expecting anything then. Sorry about that really. I was excited thinking I had a deal.

Don't worry I was ready to send it in as well, because I kept reading it and it didnt' make sense to actually send the product. But still a good price with the $6 rebate since my kids were really needing it.
