Walgreens buy 1 snickers minis or m&ms get $2RR 12/28-1/31

there were red signs on the shelf saying buy 1 or more packages of 11.5 oz snickers minis or m&ms something or other and get $2RR back. valid 12/28 through 1/31

I bought one bag as a filler thinking that is awesome. but i didnt get no RR.
manager rang it up 6 different ways to try to get one to print, even rang up two bags to see if it was a misprint but stil nothing..
anyone else see this sign?

ok.. guess no one else saw this solid red sign on the shelf. they were on the seasonal aisle and the regular candy aisle

I saw a pic of the sign (all deal signs actually) on another board, but I haven't found anything about anyone buying them or having problems with the deal.

The two biggest problems with RRs not printing is usually not buying the right product/size or using a RR to purchase the product (specifically if it's from the same company)

no it wasnt any of that. store manager herself rang up different ways about 6 times to try and get it to print.

UPDATE: WHOO HOOOO I went to the store tonight and the AM went in back and came back out with my $2 RR from mars food co.

That was an awesome deal. I asked if it was fixed and if i could try it again and they said one never knows if it is fixed lol

I checked out the red tag on another site, and saw the Snickers miniatures, 11.5 oz and the M&M's Mini Xchange 19 pack, 9.5 oz. Both stated buy 1 or more participating product, receive $2 RR. 12/28/08-1/31/09.

I am wondering if these are for special Valentine's packages. I may have to check them out the next time I am in WAG.
