Wow, you must have a store that posts all of their sale prices by the time you get there on Sunday if you're relying on the shelf price. I know that mine generally doesn't have them posted, so I have to go by the rebate book and ad. Also, why not just tell the cashier that you don't want the item and tell them to remove it from your order if it rings up at the wrong price?

Strangely, at the store I went to, they were completely out of the 8 ounce solution but had plenty of the 4 ounce. I almost thought they were out of the FAR item when I saw the big empty space.

The multipurpose solution isn't on sale, that's why I was surprised at the $3.79 shelf price when the rebate price is $1.99. If the cashier would have been more polite I would have asked, but he was the only cashier on duty and I didn't want to have to deal with him. I'll look for it at another store where I know the cashiers are more pleasant.
And when the sale starts at midnight (24 hour store), I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the store to have sale prices posted by 9:45am. Why would they not want customers to know the current price of their products? I wish Walgreens had self-scanners so I could check prices on my own.

No Zucol at the first Wags I tried, the manager even looked in the back. Last week they had a whole display of it. So they sold 25 boxes in 3 days before the rebate even started? :shrug7: Must be lots of peeps in my city with colds! Only 2 Revlon foundations left, several Revlon lip glosses, about 10 Thermacares (almost hidden at the back of the shelf) and lots of Fructis. So overall great stocking for my store on the first day of new rebate month. At my second store they had oodles of Zucol.

There is Clairol Perfect 10 on clearance at my WG for 5.49. Use the $2 off coupon out there and it's 3.49. On Page 38 you can submit for a $5 gift card (no extra 10%), so $1.51 MM.

I forgot the contact solution, so I don't know if it was marked at my store. However, the ThermaCare wrap WAS marked as sale and FAR, but the Garnier was not. The Revlon was on the cosmetics display and still in stock (both lip gloss and concealer). I always buy the FAR whether or not marked, and just make sure they do not scan at more than the limit in the book. I was glad they still had stock, seeing as it was 9:15 Sunday morning LOL I sing in the choir, run to CVS and/or Wags and get back in time to sing in the 2nd service.
