can I use up to four different RRs to pay down the balance?
Most likely...but occasionally a manu coupon is coded to count the nabisco/coke as one. (or basically the coupon is being counted twice)...so grab 4 tiny fillers just in case.

Yes, it is a good idea to have fillers handy when using $/2 coupons. Sometimes they do attach to both items.

OK I have been couponing heavly for two years.....thanks to the help of everybody here. Last night I went to my closest Walgreens (30 minutes away) and did two transactions. Like I do everyweek i turned around and and used my register rewards on the second transaction. None of my RR would scan (i had the appropriate fillers). Long story short they called a manager and the manager said it was because they weren't meant to be used back to back. I explained to him nicely that I live too far away to come more then once a week and have been doing this for two years. He was very nice, but continued to say that RR aren't meant to be used back to back. I have never had any problems at the Walgreens I shop at and therefore I became worried that I could be wrong. I have used RR back to back before, but instantly became worried. Especially since I have been teaching coupon classes in my small town. Please someone tell me that I am not wrong. Thanks for any help that is given!!!!

It has nothing to do with using them back to back. This happened a couple weeks ago to me. I received RR one day then went to another store a few days later and RR wouldn't scan, cashier said it's because of low ink in the printer and the coupon is then faint and scanner can't pick it up. HTH

I have one store like this. They won't allow RR from the same day to be used. I'm not sure why yours would not work. I can tell you it's not because you used them back to back, though.

I have had that problem when the RR was printed on a machine that was running out of ink. The cashier can key it in as a manufacturer coupon and it should work just fine.

Some stores do limit you to using the RR on your next visit. They have the right to make that decision per corp., but there is nothing against Wags policy in using it the same trip.

Sorry you had a problem with it scanning. :(

had the not scan thing happen to me. It was due to the ink being light on them. I made a comment the ink needed changed it seemed (insert giggle) and she said "nah we just changed it at every register but for some reason they are printing lightly". I went to use one on my next transaction and it wouldn't scan she entered the numbers manually no problem. Had the same issue happen the NEXT day at the same wags and the store manager didn't say a word to me just entered it manual and went on with everything else.

Ok, I have done a couple searches, without success, can someone type me up a scenerio for the Vicks deal. I have $3 RR and $4 RR as well as about 5 of the $2/1 Vicks coupons. I'm just not sure how to handle the RR deals where you have to purchase a certain price because my coupons never work right...please help!

I am wondering about the monthly coupon book coupons. It says "limit one coupon per customer per offer".

SO: Can you use more than one of that coupon in the same transaction?

I am thinking about the kleenex coupon and and the kleenex catalina... Thanks!

New to Walgreens, but not new to couponing....Ran into a snag the second time I tried to do a deal there...

I had, say, 4 items. Each item had a coupon and I had a RR (for a total of 5 "coupon-types". When the cashier tried to ring me out, the last coupon beeped at her. She said I could not have more coupons than items. Is that true?
I had to throw in some BOGO bubble gum (not that the kids minded! LOL) but it was $ I was not planning on spending.

Is this typical to Walgreens? TIA!

--EDIT--
Found the answer in post 923 (thanks Mikki 316 - repped ya). Looks like you need as many items as coupons. I don't like that part of the game!!!

I didn't expect to find the answer readily in almost 1000 posts!!!
