I haven't heard anything about this. I don't think it's a general rule (at least we aren't being given that info, nor are the numerous employees/managers I've spoken with). That would definitely kill their business, IMHO.

BTW, I'm assuming you mean using a RR on a different promotion, not just rolling it into the same promo, which doesn't roll to begin with unless it's a glitch.

Sorry, I didn't read down far enough before my last post.

WAG doesn't control how the RRs print. That's Catalina Marketing and/or whomever programs the computer/catalina machine. Just my opinion, but I think someone's just thinking the sky is falling.

ok. I hope I'm post this in the right spot. I'm new to doing this.
I do not have a walgreens account. I'm getting one tomorrow.

1. Can I get my card tomorrow and use it right then?
2. Register Rewards for this week.

If I:
buy (4) Bayer quick Release $2.49 =$10. get 10RR
Niva Bodywash (1) $4.99 = $5 get 5RR

Can I turn around and buy the 2/20 Huggies pullups with 2 $2.00 coupons
Making them $16.00 , use May 15RR , and walk out paying a dollar. Plus I'll get 2 more RR?

No card / account is required at WAG.
You will only get 1 RR per promotion per transaction. So, if you want to buy 4 Bayer quick release, you'll have to do 4 transactions. You can do 1 bayer and 1 nivea in the same transaction and get the $2.50 (bayer) and the $5 (nivea) RRs.
As for the Huggies transaction, you can only use one MQ (including RRs) per product purchased. You would need filler items (without MQs attached to them) in order to use the RRs.
As long as the RRs you use to pay are from a different promotion, you should still receive the RRs on the transaction.

This is so confusing!!!!

OK. so I can get (1) bayer & (1) Niva in one transaction and get about $7.50 RR.

Then in second transaction I can do the 2/20 pullups using my 2MQ & My RR Paying around 8.50 and I will get 2 more RR.

Do I need a filler with the pullups because I'm using 2mq & 2rr and only buying 2 items?

yes you will need 2 fillers. Number of manufacture coupons/ Register Rewards can't exceed number of items in the transaction

I went last night and tried to do the Rembrandt and the Nivea but the cashier told me I'd have to do two separate transactions to get both RR. She did two transactions for me and I got them separately (I didn't use one to pay for the other) but after reading the last posts I think she was wrong. Right?!

People need to start emailing WG and tell them that they are not going to put up with this nonsense with stores making up their own rules for RR's. And even worse if this really is a corporate rule, it needs to be stopped.

Let them know that you don't like the new system. If they don't keep hearing it, they will think that people don't mind it.

yep she was wrong, you could have paid for them both in one transaction and gotten both RR
