| Re: Have a Walgreens Question? Ask it here So many people seem to be complaining that their stores are putting up signs that say if you pay with a rr one won't print off. Is there any truth to this? Meaning is it new or going to be true in stores now? I know it still works, as always, but it seems like there are a number of stores that are making this a rule now? Is there anyway to find out if there is any truth to the pay with rr and not get one?

I've been rolling all week. *Fingers crossed* that it continues to work this way! I haven't been told anything differently ("officially").

Originally Posted by juliet108 I was out shopping today and needed to buy 4 items. I had 3 RR and 1 manufacture coupon. I got the 3 items I went in for and was browsing the clearance isle for a 4th item. I found some replacement toothbrush heads that I THOUGHT were $3.50. It didn't dawn on me until I got down the road that my oop total was higher than I thought it should have been. Sure enough, they rang up as $9.99. My daughter was screaming and I was anxious to get out of there, so I wasn't paying attention when the cashier was checking me out.
I can go back later tonight and see if they really were 3.50, or if they were just 3.50 off regular price. Obviously, I"ll ask for a refund if they just rang up wrong. But if they are $9.99 - I'd rather return them. Or can I? That's my 4th item in that transaction. What would happen?
Thanks! | They should refund the difference to you.

I just kinda brushed it off saying its just .50 but I called today to ask if they had a limit onl how many coupons they take and the manager told me that they will not take more coupons than items you buy. Does that sound right? is it that way for every store? like CVS, Target, etc. | if you have 5 items you can only have 5 coupons, RR count as coupons.
so 5 items...... 3mfg and 2 RR and so on.

| Re: Have a Walgreens Question? Ask it here If your store takes Walgreen Register Rewards as competitor coupons
however we don't allow discussion on it as the Register Rewards are issued by Walgreens for the intention of redeeming them at Walgreens. If you are one of the lucky ones who has a store that takes them , however remember we don't allow discussion of it.

| Re: Have a Walgreens Question? Ask it here I've been reading the boards for a long time (years, maybe?!) but have only recently gotten *serious* about couponing. Now I have a question.
I understand what an overage is, but does that mean that WG will give you cash back in your transaction? The reason I ask this is because my WG will not let me use a coupon if that coupon will cause me to have an overage. Is that right? I haven't been arguing with them, lol, because they have been kind enough to let me do six/seven/eight transactions at one time, but I was wondering if I'm kinda getting screwed out of some savings? :shrug7:
Thanks in advance!! |

Thanks in advance!! | WAG policy is that they will not give cash back. We usually just add some other items to absorb overage, if the store allows it. YMMV.
