and also i think that a register reward will just print like one $2, so to get all 4 you have to do them in seperate transactions.

wasn't sure if this was answered, hope it helps

and i know i never want the register to beep! so i try and always have fillers and never just strictly coupons

Until recently the monthly Easysaver Rebate Book was starting, while the previous book was still in effect. This led to all sort of good deals. Coupons from one book was use with coupon from the other book and at least once, folks submitted tape info on one buy to get rebates for both months. I do recall there was even $X off $XX email coupons that made everyone happy. March ESR book ends on the 28th and so let hope April one is early.

Those were the days when you could pad your $20 requirement by buying a book of stamp.

It's called the Wags Activity Book and is slightly smaller than a regular coloring book. The coupons are on a sheet at the front of the book. You might want to make sure that the coupons are in it before you buy it because I've seen several books with the coupon sheet missing. I found mine with the children's coloring books, but have also seen them in a display up front. It costs $.99. HTH.

I bought 2 of the Colgate toothpastes last week that were supposed to generate $2 rr's. Because I did them both in the same transaction only one rr printed. I realized what happened and tried to return and rebuy it in order to get it to print. The manager who is usually there usually does not have any problem with this. The one filling in that night though told me that the reason only one prints out at a time is because the limit is 1 and that they are trying to crack down on this because otherwise couponers will just keep buying several of them. (I guess they don't want us buying their stuff?!) I told her that she was wrong about it being a limit of one and she said "well...it says manager have the right to limit quantities" Then she said she'd let me do it THIS time but it is supposed to be a limit of one....like she was doing me a huge favor by letting me buy two tubes of toothpaste!! RRs aren't limit of 1 are they??? I've never had problems in the past with buying more than one as long as I did them in sperate transactions.

SAD Re: Have a Walgreens Question? Ask it here

I think I messed up totally today

I went to Walgreen's #1 first (more in this later)

I wanted to do the puffs deal, so I bought 6 boxes of puffs with Vicks @2.39, one Wags colouring book .99, one box of Nyquil (need it for DS).

14.34 for Puffs 2.39 *6
.99 Colouring book
5.99 Nyquil

I had a 1.50 q for the Nyquil and the puffs were 3/5

so total paid was 16.28 and I received $10 RR

Then I thought I would do the triaminic deal and use my RR, well they kept having issues with my coupons and then couldn't put the RR, so I left a little annoyed. :shrug7:

next stop Walgreen's #2 and the lightbulb went off in my head, you have to use the RR before the other q's (I am a newbie ok?!!), so I got 2 packs of triaminic strips @ 2/10, one box of the Russell Stover chocolates for 3.99, one bottle of fructus waves for 3.49.

used my RR first, that worked, but they tried to tell me that I could not use the Wags's q (from the colouring book) and the IP q for the triaminic together, tried to argue that one was a store q and the other a manu q, but they would only take one q for each, because their machine kept beeping and the manager said you can't get it for free - what??? :hectic1:

So in the end I paid
10 for 2 triaminic
3.49 for the fructus
8.99 for the chocolate

less
10 RR
5 choc coupon from the flyer
1.00 choc q
1.00 fructus q
1.50 triaminic q IP
1.00 triaminic q from wags colouring book

total paid out was 2.81

then I went home and did the rebates and I should receive back $6 (triaminic), 3.49 (fructus) + 10%

So I paid out 6.28 and 2.81 and receive 10.44 in rebates, total oop was
-1.34 but it should have been more, now I am annoyed and think I will call customer service grrr.

Anyone else having these issues or is it just me? :shrug7:

The only limit is that only one RR per promotion will print per transaction. Each store manager has the right to limit quantities, this is true. Limiting to one per customer is a bit excessive, IMHO. I'd find a new store if that's an option. Sounds like that manager would rather keep products on the shelf that sell two to a customer.

I'm a little confused, but I'll try to answer what I *think* is your question. I've used the Triaminic IVC (in the activity book) and it doesn't scan correctly. The cashier has to manually enter the coupon amount and since it doesn't scan, they have to keep the coupon for the cash drawer, so that it will equal out at the end of the shift.
That being said, your cashier might have entered it manually as a MQ rather than a WAG Q and messed up your scenario, thus causing the RR/MQ to be over the # you could use in that transaction.
I hope that answers your question. If not, post again.
