Walgreens DIMETAPP / ROBITUSSIN – Giving $20.00 RRs instead of $10.00 RRs

I bought 4 different varieties of Robitussin (any that were $4) and got the $10, $5 and $5 RR. Great deal! Oh, I used 5 of the $2 printables too. so profit $10

Worked at mine 30 mins ago!! Thanks for the tip, I was going to skip this deal. I bought 3 Robi DM Adult and 2 Dimetapp Cold/Cough. I also bought a roll of clearance wrapping paper for .49. Total was $10.72 with tax and I got $20 RR. Woohoo!

I bought 5 Robitussin and 5 dimetapp. The first one I got the $10 and 2 $5. The second I got 2 $5.. but no $10. I didn't want to question her about it but was happy with what I got. She did ask me what I was going to do with all the medicine. I have already gave some to my mom and will send some to daycare for my son. I will end up using the rest myself since I seem to get sick alot while teaching.

When I went and did this deal today, NOTHING printed! No RR's! The cashier was very nice and called over a manager. He said it was because I used coupons...I don't think so! So then they called over the store manager. He again suggested it was because I used coupons, but I said that I do this all the time and it's BEFORE coupons. The cashier also stepped in and said "it says BUY $20 worth...she DID buy $20 worth, she is just choosing to pay for it partially with coupons" (love her!!). Finally after about 15 minutes the store manager took my 5 Robi/Dimetapp and rang them up at another register to see if a RR printed. He brought back a $10RR so I guess that's what it printed. I wonder if he got the bonus ones though?

Anyway I'm just glad I got the $10RR. The stores power went out last night and the cashier was thinking that could have been the reason why it wasn't working. She wanted to reset her machine and then do a new transaction but the mgr wouldn't let her.

So frustrating!!

Ooh, just got mine too!

I got all Robitussin: 3 x Adult Cough & Cold CF (3-0031-8616-14-7) and 2 x Adult Cough & Chest Congestion DM (3-0031-8685-15-0).

The cashier was really surprised. She said something in what I think was an Indian language, and then goes, "$20 in coupons?!". I just said, "Cool, huh?", and scurried out like they were going to come after me
