It is official, gift sets at least in the cosmetics department are going to be marked 1/2 OFF at 6am on 12/25/2008. Yes that is CHRISTMAS DAY. This is one day earlier than in the past.
Any last minute shopping before celebrating? To bad my family celebrates Christmas Eve.

Actually from what I am hearing ALL Christmas will ring 50% off on Christmas Day.
24 Hour Stores the price will start ringing at 6am, non 24 hour stores the price should be ringing when they open.

I did not realize Walgreens would be open Christmas Day until I saw it on the Sign tonight, 9am-6pm, I think! Now unless one of my family members is sick, we won't be going shopping at Walgreens on Christmas Day!

Does anyone familiar with Walgreens know the schedule for markdowns after Christmas. I know that the day after Christmas things will be marked down 50 percent. How soon after that does it go to 75 percent?

I am not real sure....but I think it really depends on how much Christmas stuff they have left over. But I am sure Irishlass could tell us more about that...

Actually all Christmas clearance is scheduled to start this year on Christmas Day. 50% off. I am not sure when 75% off will hit, will try to remember to look but not promising anything
