Walgreens-Missed out on getting the free hair dryer

My store only had six. I couldn't get there early this morning because I had to take my DD to a city one hour away to have her wisdom teeth removed. I didn't get there until about 2 pm and all of them were gone. Sales lady at the beauty counter said they were all gone by 11:30. I didn't really need a hair dryer but thought it would be nice for a gift. Oh well, at least I got the $20 7-inch digital frame last week.

I lucked out because I couldn't get there until lunchtime. My Walgreens is so clueless. When I got there there were no dryers in sight. Since I'm fairly tall I looked up high and saw 4. I took one down and went to pay for it..the cashier asked me where I found that! lol
Used the $10 RR to buy DS the Axe gift pack. He will flip!

I got there at 8:30, and the hair dryers were already gone. When I got to work, the first thing our secretary (my coupon buddy) said was, "I tried to get the hair dryer this morning, but they were out." She said they called the other store a couple miles away, and they were already out too. So, both of our stores were out less than an hour and a half after they opened.

I had a cashier I thought holding 2. One for Mom and One for me. Well for some reason they disappeared. :shrug7: Manager said if they get them in tomorrows truck we can buy it and he'll give us a Wags GC for $10.00. Sweet!

I wouldn't count on the dryer coming back in. From what I have read, Walgreens is no longer going to carry that hairdryer. Last time I looked the warehouse was out of them.

I missed out too. They offered to give me a raincheck to get it for $10, but they said I couldn't get the RR then. No thanks!!

I'd be happy to get it for free with no RR. I needed one and my store was out when I got there early.

I tried to buy it on Sunday. I forgot it was a Monday only deal. The cashier said, "do you want me to hold it for you?" I just about hit the floor. It was the only one in the store! I said "sure". Can you believe when I got to Walgreens yesterday at 4:00pm that hairdryer was still sitting on the floor behind the register. The same cashier was working and she said, "do you know how many people tried to get that hair dryer from me today?" I asked her what her favorite candy was and then bought it for her. I actually needed a new hair dryer so I was very grateful.

I did not get out until after 2:30 yesterday. First store was sold out, but the second store still had them behind the makeup counter. I just bought one.
