Walgreens: 12/22 Free Hairdryer after RR

I went to a 24 hour Walgreens just now and bought the hairdryer a little after midnight. It rang up at the sale price of $10 and I got my $10 RR. I had to ask the manager if they had any, because there were none on the shelf. They had them in the back, so if you don't see them...ASK!!

I went to get mine too and at 12:05 it was still ringing up 19.99 and would not print RRs. Then the manager came over and rang it up at 0.00 bc it was supposed to be free after RRs and then it spit the RRs out. Luckily I was getting another one so he just price adjusted the 2nd one to 10.00 and used the $10 RR to pay for it. I just thought it was funny that it wouldn't print the RRs when it was 19.99 but it did when he price adjusted it to 0.00 :)

Got mine! My store had a pile of about 20 of them.

my wags would not ring mine up at 0 so I had to wait 45 minutes. the cashier was nice and kept checking periodically. He was shocked that wags was giving away something. I did show him some of my cvs reciepts from earlier. Also the rr would not scan. I am going to try again later. Maybe it was too close to issue.

The Wags across from my work only has 4 of these for the morning.. I'd better get up early...

I went in at midnight too and the manager had to price adjust them to $10 at about 12:10. He didn't think the RR would print and was prepared to give me a gift card...but they did print so it worked out well. Yeah!!

I checked on Sunday to see how many my store had there were 3 on the shelf and about 5 on the overhead. This morning I stopped before work at 6:00 am and all that I found was one on the overhead. I asked the manager if they had any out some where else or if he could help me get the one on top. He said there were no more up there but there were 2 left on a different shelf so I got one and showed him where the other one was so he could get it down.
I debated on getting another one but I don't really need it. I just wanted one for DD14 who keeps taking mine.

I went this morning and got 2. Last week I counted over 6 at my store but this morning there were only 2 left! I wonder if employees took advantage of the deal. I felt bad taking the only 2, but that was the quantity that I was planning on getting. Hopefully they have more in back. I really think that a store should have a large quantity of their advertised items *coughWalmartBlackFridaycough*.
