HELP Walgreens: Can you use a RR and a coupon?

My husband went to walgreens tonight to get the carrot bonus pack and he gave her the bygo coupon and a rr and she said he could not use both. He ended up not buying it, and I am gonna go up tommorrow morning, but I wanted to make sure that you can use a RR and a coupon. She mentioned that they are cracking down on coupon fraud and my husband said are you accusing me of that, she said no. I dont understand how using a coupons and rr constitutes fraud. Any advise will be apprecaited.

You are allowed to use a RR and a MFQ at the same time. I think the clerk was misinformed...

The only problem would have been if he was trying to use both and didn't have anything else in the order. Do you know if he had a filler?

no filler. He just had that. I am new to this RR thing, so if the item he was purchaseing was 5.99 and he got 2 and used a bygo coupon it would = 6.?? with tax, and the RR was 5.00 so he would still have to pay a difference of 1.??. I dont understand why he couldnt use both.

The fine print on the RR says your total number of manufacturer's coupons and RRs can't exceed the number of items in your order. So, if you're buying 1 item and want to use a coupon and a RR, you would need to add a second item so the RR has something to "attach" to. You can use something cheap like a candy bar, pencil, travel pack of Kleenex, etc.

When using a Manuf. and a RR on the same product you will need a cheap filler.

But if he was using a BOGO coupon, he had two items right? So he should have been able to use the coupon and the RR.

Actually if Im understanding it correctly he should have been able to use both coupons? Well more like YMMV on this since some people say a B1G1F coupon uses 2 items while others say it only uses 1 item.

So I guess what I am saying is its going to depend on the cashier/manager at your store if they will take 2 items and 2 coupons since your using a B1G1F or if you will need a cheap filler for the second coupon.

From my understanding, the BOGO is attached to both products so like other posters said, you'll need a cheap filler that either needs a Walgreens coupon or no coupon in order to use both.

That happened to me when I had the L'Oreal Pro Calcium and two Scotch tape 4 pks. I had a coupon for the L'Oreal, one coupon for the Scotch tape and a RR. I had 2 coupons and RR for 3 items, so I figure I'm set.

The RR would not scan. I had to get a Walgreens soda for .39 (with Walgreens coupon) for it to finally scan. I realized that the Scotch tape coupon was attached to both tape packs so I needed a filler.

    Hope this helps.
