While this might be a great example of how to use coupons, in this case, you would be getting the 7 oz box for 3.99, but the box a quarter the cost is still half the size- 3oz ... wouldn't it be better to get the smaller boxes? You spend .45 c, and get 19 oz with the use of 5 coupons above. If you use the same number of coupons, and have the same oop of .45, but buy all small boxes- 8 of them, you get 24oz. The more chocolate, the better, right?

I don't know, in this case it just seems a little better to still buy individual boxes.

I went to Walgreens today and purchased the turtles. I bought extra boxes to allow for the overage on the MQs. The transaction went smoothly with no beeps.

I purchased 11 boxes and used 7 Qs.

11 * .99 = 10.89

minus 7 MQs * 1.50 = $10.50

Total after Qs = .39

The cashier typed in $1.50. I think it all depends on your store. Some will do this and some will not. It is one of those....YMMV.

I hope there are still Turtles at my store once my coupons arrive. We didn't get that coupon so I had to order mine. My dh loves Turtles!! In fact, I spent the entire .99 last night to buy him a box because he was whining for chocolate. It was the cheapest yummy treat I could find. LOL!

We had family over all day. First, my brother brings over a new puppy they found but are unable to keep so now we have her. Then my nephews baptism and everyone came to our house after that. It is now almost 8:00 pm and Survivor is on so I won't be able to go tonight.
I now have 65.00 in RR to use up by the 20th and there really isn't too much I want. I haven't been able to find the Russel Stover since the deal a couple of weeks ago and the stores around here had a lot of turtles but I am not sure how long that will last.

FYI, the Zooth toothbrush IVC from the coloring book took off $1 for both of my toothbrushes. Combine it with the $1/2 insert q, and it's a $1 moneymaker. I know some of the coloring book have only been coming off 1 item when you buy multiples, so I just thought I'd mention it.

Where are you guys finding this coloring book Q? I haven't seen it. Thanks.

If you haven't already bought the L'Oreal lotion that was FAR from last month, you could get that. It is a raincheck rebate item this month. Also, I picked up The Office Trivia Board Game as a Christmas gift for $14.99. This is much cheaper than anywhere else (assuming you can even find it anywhere else since several places like KMart and Target are sold out).
